Let me reintroduce myself as a personal trainer ✨ It’s been a while!

Since I was last properly active, I’m now a momma of 2, ready and eager to GET BACK TO PT. Although, I haven’t been totally absent, I’ve been working behind the scenes, not promoting myself.

Fitness industry for 11 years, PT & class instructor of 7 years covering indoor cycling, body pump, and choreographing my own classes.

Found a new passion for running which you may/may not have seen, my half marathon in October coming up so I’m sure I’ll post about that.

Really need to be better at social media, makes me cringe but it’s my job, it’s time to promote myself I suppose - it’s all over my feed. 😂

The influx on social media of local PT’s and gyms have rapidly grown in our local area. Please please please be careful… it’s all about technique, safety, and the correct information.

Classes are still at Snap fitness with the hope to add more on asap.

Hello everyone! 👋

Not sure why my Fitness page isn’t up to date but I will now inform you all about my challenge.

I have decided to run 60 miles throughout June to raise awareness of infant death and funds for the grieving families and research. It really hits a nerve when you have 2 healthy children of your own, I would be lost without my kids, they are my life. To think many families are heartbroken for the loss of their child breaks my heart.

It’s also a little challenge for me since the half marathon I’ve ran. In all honesty, I haven’t ran since 😅.

Run 1 - treadmill 5 miles in the gym, it was like a greenhouse as the treadmill is positioned in the beaming sun ☀️ it was grim.

Run 2 - a nice evening 4 miles, it was quiet out and the latest run I’ve done all year. Took it easy as the area I live in is extremely hilly.

Run 3 - the following day the kids were at nannies super early so I got dressed when they left and headed out for “fasted cardio” managed 5 miles, did the park run and added a couple of more kms to it to hit the 5 mile target. Hillier than the night before but didn’t feel fatigued. Result.

I’ve hit my 10 mile milestone 🙌 I’m 1 mile away from 15.

Hello, run update!

I haven’t been posting because I have been ill. Really respiratory so struggled with cough and had an inhaler (which I took two puffs of before the run, I didn’t need it after thankfully 😅).

Happy to be back to it and really impressed with my pace considering.

Definitely got the bug back for running. Everybody seems to be getting out running at the moment which helps with motivation. And seeing better results each run helps too!

Featuring, the bad boy running shoes. Not so white bottomed now thanks to running behind the prison 🙃.

Wanted to complete this run as it’s 5K and the second run I did since beginning my run training. Image one is todays run and the pic next to it with longer results is January.

A bit disappointed with the time although did shave 4:09 off, really wanted to be below the 30 min mark but I’ll blame that on my cold!!!

An average pace decrease of 44 seconds and working heart rate improvement which is all good!

Just need to get out as much as possible as Riga is 7 weeks out.

Trying to get into the gym more often so I set myself some goals, although this weeks been a write off with running 😬
Implementing this ski erg into each session is a killer but love it.

Goals…
1. Run 10k over the a week
2. Walk 8k over the week
3. Train 2.5 hours over the week

7 miles today 🙌
I’d have gone earlier in the week but I did an awful leg session on Monday causing 4 day doms so was unable to run 😂 trying to incorporate lifts into my training and other methods of cardio.
Don’t currently like the ski erg + circuits I’ve been doing but I hope to learn to love it.

Sprint finish, felt strong but ankles weak, time to invest in some proper shoes. Could have ran a touch longer but ran out of distance and it’s the farthest I have ran on strava 🥇.

Run 5… horrible. Felt slow, heavy legs and cba attitude but I did 7K (4.5 mile). This weeks total: 17km
