Following a very challenging week for several members of the team and the wider cycling community, there is a lot to be proud of with the team’s performance at the Scottish National Road Race Championships 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 this weekend.

💥 4 riders finishing in the Top 10.

🥈 Lydia Louw backing up her recent performances with a super strong ride.

🥉 Jess Bufton showing how she’s fit perfectly into the team with a bonus podium as a junior.

📈 .padmanabhan showing just how much progress she has made in her first season racing.

Loving to see the progress the team are making in 2026. From hanging on in the first Nat As of the season to having the confidence and form to animate the race this weekend at the Curlew Cup.

🫡 Lowri Richards for going solo on Lap 1 and kicking off the action and Lydia Louw for a strong ride throughout looking more comfortable in the bunch with every race. We can feel a big result coming soon.

Another step in the right direction for the team at the weekend.

In what was a super tough and attritional race in the heat 🌶️ with 1600m of climbing the team came away with a great result - Lowri Richards and Lydia Louw finishing in the Top 20.

When you’re in deep during the season it’s easy to forget that these National A races feature the very best women riders in the UK outside of the WWT. Finishing Top 20 is real and a measure of the progress we’re making as a team 📈

Next up, time to dial in for a 2 week racing block in Belgium ⛴️ 🇧🇪

We couldn’t be happier for Lowri Richards taking the 🥇 at the British Women’s Team Cup on Sunday.

Lowri came to the team at the end of 2025 following a challenging period of illness and time out the sport. Her commitment, positive attitude and simple love of the game persuaded us she would be a great fit. Putting in the required work over the winter and spring we could see the form starting to build for Lowri - a steady run of results and some solid performances at the British Nationals all pointing in the right direction 📈

Then came Otley and Ilkley last week where, let’s be honest, we kind of got our heads kicked in 🤯

On the back of that experience it would have been all too easy to roll over at the weekend. Instead the team rode an aggressive race, played the last lap perfectly and Lowri delivered. A second national race win for the team in 2026 and a first individual National B win 🙌

British National Junior Championships 2026 🇬🇧

Starting off the weekend was tess byrne in the Time Trial on Saturday. With every other rider on a TT bike and full aero set up it would have been easy not to start but Tess gave it everything on her road bike and put in an effort she can be proud of.

On Sunday came the British National Junior Road Championships with Jess Bufton and .padmanabhan racing - both girls raced hard in a competitive field on a difficult course, and gained invaluable race experience with the best junior riders in the UK 👏

British Elite National Championships 2026 🇬🇧🏆

The week kicked off with Lowri Richards taking on the U23 Time Trial in Lampeter. Over 26km in scorching conditions, Lowri delivered a superb ride to secure an impressive 11th place. 💪

On Friday evening, millie thomson and Jess Bufton lined up for the Circuit Race Championships, where both riders put in strong performances in a fast, aggressive race.

The weekend concluded with the biggest event on the British cycling calendar, as Lowri Richards, millie thomson and Lydia Louw took on the Elite Women’s Road Race Championships against the best riders in the country.

All three girls rode fantastic races, racing aggressively at the front and showing great strength throughout to cap off an excellent week at the National Championships. 👏🇬🇧
