Recent changes to NHS funding have brought new challenges for many charities, including ours.

While the way we are funded is changing, our commitment to supporting people affected by cancer remains the same.

We're continuing to provide counselling, complementary therapies, support groups and a welcoming community for those who need us most. Every donation, fundraiser, volunteer and supporter helps us continue delivering these vital services.

Behind every visit to our centre is someone navigating one of life's most difficult journeys.

We're privileged to support people and their families by providing a safe space to talk, therapies to ease the emotional impact of cancer, and a community that understands.

Blood cancer can affect people of all ages, and recognising the signs early could make a real difference.

Some common symptoms include:
🔹 Persistent fatigue
🔹 Unexplained bruising or bleeding
🔹 Frequent infections
🔹 Unexplained weight loss
🔹 Night sweats
🔹 Swollen lymph nodes
🔹 Bone or joint pain

While these symptoms don't always mean blood cancer, it's important to speak to your GP if they persist or you're concerned.

After an incredible 18 years as a nurse at The Holistic Cancer Centre, Catherine has stepped away from her nursing role, but we're delighted that she's still very much part of our team. 💛

Today, Catherine volunteers her time each week as our Acupuncturist, continuing to support our patients with the same kindness, compassion and dedication she's always shown. 🌿✨

We're incredibly grateful that Catherine has chosen to continue giving back to our community, helping patients find comfort and wellbeing through acupuncture as part of their holistic cancer care.
