Oh my little eyes where leaking!

This lady amazes me eye week with her determination, she brings her A game each and every session!

Works a very demanding emotionaly and physically job has to primary school aged children and has battled breast cancer, and beat it no less!

When she started with me I asked her the big question “what are your goals ” she said “she wanted to be less fat “ I said she wasn’t aloud to use that word! So we settled on just healthier and happier!

She said before we started she hated exercise and she probably wouldn’t last the full block but she wanted to give it a whirl as she had herd I was quit the numpty!

Anyways one year later she’s still coming bringing the weird!

We have had a lot of disruption to our sessions thanks to Covid but we are back on track now and I look forward to every session! And she is obsessed like meeeee

🏊‍♀️ IF YOU FANCY A SWIM AT THIS AMAZING LOCATION THIS WEEK THEN GET BOOKING 🏊‍♂️

Small group swim classes focus on swimming technique as well as improving distance per stroke and open water specific drills.

This will be followed by intervals and exercises to improve fitness, strength and stamina and pacing awareness for distance swims!

Please comment below to book a place stating which session you wish to attend. Places are limited to 10 per class and will be allocated on a first come first served basis: booking is essential. COVID Safe guidelines will be adhered to throughout the session.

This weeks sessions are held at Capernwray at the following times:

🏊‍♂️ Tuesday 10.15am
🏊‍♀️ Wednesday Class 7.30pm
🏊‍♂️ Thursday 10.15am

For coached sessions:
🧜‍♀️ £5 per session payable on the day as you arrive on the jetty
🧜‍♀️ on arrival you must have a valid membership card and pay your £6 gate fee. Orange membership cards have been extended through to 1st August
🧜‍♀️ please arrive ready as there are no changing facilities available (toilets are open)
🧜‍♀️ after making your coaching payment to myself please enter straight into the water - please avoid gathering on the jetty for safety reasons

Well the weather wasnt kond this last week except when ruth trained as she always brings the good weather, 😂

🤩Liam passed his basic training, was never any doubt that he wouldnt!
Well done dude ....

RIVER SWIMMING 🏊‍♀️

For all those of you asking about the River Conditions at Bull Beck.... The levels are high due to the recent rain fall however it is running clear although with a strong current. It was 9 degrees today... invigorating 🥶

Remember....

🏊‍♀️ check the height of the water and the strength of the current before entering - leave it at least 24 hours after any rainfall

🏊‍♀️take a spotter/buddy with you inline with current restrictions or make sure someone knows where you are and what time you are expected to return

🏊‍♀️ make sure you are wearing a tow float and a bright hat if possible

🏊‍♀️ gloves and socks/swim shoes are advisable

🏊‍♀️ watch out for floating debris such as tree branches

🏊‍♀️ as soon as you start to feel cold exit the water safely... claw hand is a good sign

🏊‍♀️ wetsuit off, wrap up warm and have a warm drink before trying to drive home

All my equipment is cleaned after each client and we can keep a covid safe distance, there is no high fives or hugging
My playlist is questionable bit if you have your own tjnes we can put them on ...
