May this year our very own Olly Holroyd will be finally taking on the challenge of 10 marathons in 10 days!! Since sadly he didn’t get the chance to complete this last year due to his dodgy ticker but he’s back and stronger then ever ready to smash this event out the park!

It’s starts on the 1st of may through till the 10th. All marathons are ran around Windermere, so it would be lovely to see some of you there!

It’s With a heavy heart I’d like to announce Hest Bank United will be folding. 😢

Availability being the main issue which started in pre season seems to have carried on throughout which ultimately means we can’t put a team together anymore. Unfortunately everytime we couldn’t field a team it was £50 fine, £100 , £150 and so on.

From an idea after lockdown to bring friends together we’ve since gained 3 promotions, 2 league titles and a cup final win.

What started as a team became a family. Full of memories, laughs, hard fought matches, and moments I’ll never forget. Through the highs and the tough days, every single player who pulled on the shirt gave something special to this club.

While it’s heartbreaking to bring this chapter to a close, I’m proud of what we built together. The commitment, the spirit, and the friendships will always mean more than any result ever could.

This couldn’t have been made possible without the people behind the scenes! Our secretary Lianna , Treasurer Harry , Chairman Ben , Paul & Josh Greenall who managed the team on the pitch.

Thank you to every player, supporter, friend, and opponent who played a part in our journey. Hest Bank United may be finishing on paper, but the memories and bonds we created will last a lifetime.

We head to Kendal United Reserves this weekend in division 1 where we look to pick up 3 points in what has been a lacklustre season so far. ⚽️

Our days in Division 1 look numbered after a deduction of 3 points due to our availability last weekend.

Nevertheless we continue fighting and continue to recruit players to go forward for our brilliant club. 💛

We play at BLS community Centre 2pm on a Saturday, ages 16+ !

We head down the road to face Kirkby Londsdale FC today with a 2:00 Kick Off.

It’s a huge game for both teams and the lads are ready to put right last weekend’s battering away to Cartmel.

There was multiple great performances from a lot of the team yesterday.

But MOTM yesterday was Nick Grundy for a great performance up top, delivering some quality balls into the box and working hard for the team.

Finally we pick up our first 3 points of the season! 💪🏼💛

A good result against a Greystoke side who never gave up and piled the pressure on.

A great feeling to pull through and secure the points at the end of the game! Hopefully we can build on this now after 2 positive performances in a row!

We host greystokefootballclub tomorrow as we still search for our first 3 points of the season.

After a good performance against Cartmel last time out, the lads will be hoping to finally get a result.
