Who fancies another lakes fun run in July? One day run out covering approx 100miles of Lake District roads.

Followed by a three day north coast 500 run in September.

Well we had a great day yesterday on the 6 Lakeland passes. 4 cars took part with a few dropping out last minute with technical and family issues. This didn’t dampen the spirits and and had a great day. The only mechanical issue was the mini had a wheel come loose half way around. We intend to change the format moving forward with more regular smaller uk fun days where any car is welcome but the older and crappier the better. These will be free events and a more mobile alternative to a car show. Ideally we will try and organise these for every 2 months through the summer and ideally. Will have an end of season bigger run maybe Scotland, Ireland or Europe for a few days but this will all be updated on the group page. Keep checking on the page for details.

With less than a month to go we need to get the numbers finalised. The event will be going ahead regardless of numbers, we’re all looking forward to this and would appreciate your support.

Remember as much as it’s about fun it’s also an opportunity to raise some money for your own charity of our nominated charity north west air ambulance.

Bit of clarity on the rules.

£500 limit for cars is not compulsory, cars (obviously) over this limit will be penalised points towards the overall competition.

Film theming again is not compulsory but will also be penalised points towards the overalls event

The main rule is fun. The rest are just to make it more interesting.

happy new year to everyone, hope you had a good christmas and spent qulity time with family and friends.

due to the ever overhanging covid we will be taking a year out, hopefully doing a banger rally with another group but concentrating on raising mney for some good charities.

we will hopefully be running our own rally in 2023, or if covid miraculously disappears later this year.

keep checking in for progres on our car along with any updates on upcoming events.

With the current uncertainty over COVID and travel looking like it will cause problems or at least uncertainty into 2022, as such we will not be rescheduling the event from this year. Instead we intend to piggyback onto another event and await thing settling down in 2023. We will be posting details once we know where we are going and who with should anyone want to join us.

As we unfortunately had to cancel this years event I’d like us to have a think about a rerun next year.

What are everyone’s thoughts, would you like to goto Benidorm as originally planned.

Would everyone prefer do go April or September?

Would anyone be interested in a mini event maybe just a weekend either in this country or maybe Amsterdam?
