Well after a great day of bowling, 48 players participated in this competition
Both spectators and players enjoyed the days bowling. Massive thanks to Pepe,s for their support. Thanks also go to all the people who fed and watered everyone. To the organisers and helpers, very well done! We hope this will be an annual event as everyone enjoyed the day.

Club competition - 18.5.24
Thank you to our 36 members who took part in the club tournament. It was so nice to see some of our new members reaching the later stages After a good day of bowls and plenty of sunshine it came down to the 4 top teams.
Beaten semi finalists were Margaret Smith, Sandy Morrison and Christine McLellan - also Lucy Colligan, Garry Bolton and Callum Lindsay.
Runners up were Anne McCann, Scott Keenan and Drew Hazlett. Winners of the first tournament were John McFall, Cheryl Easton & Jim Meikle
Congratulations to Chloe for organising the games, and to all the players and supporters.

HALL FOR HIRE - LESMAHAGOW BOWLING CLUB
The bowling club are happy to take bookings for many different function. They include race/quiz nights, baby showers, pre match football games,charity functions', community meetings, funerals, young farmers dances, bingo, cabarets, presentation dances and 21st birthday parties, weddings and hen parties. Anything considered although - WE DO NOT HOLD 18TH BIRTHDAYS

Kitchen facilities available on request.

For a small bowling club were are proud of the hard work of our members, friends and fellow bowlers Two organisations will benefit from these efforts
Firstly The Joke Meikle Memorial Tournament raised £960 for The Beatson
Secondly the ladies at the weekend ran a tournament for our air ambulance. A fantastic £1,066 was raised from this

Semi finalists were Keith Millward jnr and senior along with their skip Gary Lewis. Other Semi finalist Wull & Andy Brown and Skip David Hinchilwood. Finalists, Mark and Cheryl Easton and skip Johnathan Craigens

Weekly News
Congratulations to the Thursday league gents who won their games against Coalburn to progress to the semi finals of the League Cup

Friday night saw the gents battle against Dalserf to win and become Division 2 winners

Sunday the gents played against
Dalzell in the Top 10. Good opponents and the gents managed to progress to the quarter final stage. So they play away at Motherwell Miners next week
