Situated on the former site of Lanark Castle, right in the very heart of the town of Lanark, the club was formed in 1760.

Saturday 5th September saw our Ladies Vs Gents 'Challenge Cup' for the 2nd year running the gents retained the title!!.
The camaraderie and slating from the women to the men and the men to the women was hilarious.
It was a real competitive and fun day for all!

We had the pleasure of hosting East Kilbride Visually Impaired Bowling Club for their 5th Anniversary.
Their President 'Dominic' asked if they could host it Lanark Thistle Bowling Club as we were the Oldest Bowling club in Scotland (260 years), and they were the newest Bowling club in Scotland.
It was absolutely amazing watching them play, and how they listen to their 'sighted director' for direction of their bowls.
We loved having you all, and will be keeping in touch.
Best wishes to you all for the future, and for your club. 💜🖤
