Lanark Tennis Club Lanark Tennis Club, established in 1908 has two all-weather tennis courts that can be played all year round - weather permitting! Group coaching is subsidised.

A friendly, volunteer-run tennis club in the heart of Lanark, welcoming players of all ages and all abilities.

🎾 West of Scotland League Competition Membership runs from April to March and once you become a member, there is no charge for court usage booked through our app or online. We are keen to welcome those experienced and those who hav

e never picked up a racket to join our club. We strongly believe that tennis is a wonderful game-great for the body and the mind and a place to meet like-minded people. We have fabulous coaches who bring on the adults greatly but moreover are so patient and encouraging to all our younger players who start as early as four years old for coaching. We are located down a private road diagonally across from Lanark Fire Station, and just a few minutes from Tesco. We look forward to welcoming you.

We are delighted to announce the return of the very popular GIRLS TENNIS COACHING with David Scott.

These sessions will be delivered to Girls aged 7-11 years of age on Tuesdays, After School, beginning 18th August at 4.00pm. These sessions are open to MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS.

Summer of Sport 2026 is a South Lanarkshire-wide initiative, supported by sportscotland, designed to encourage children and young people to get active, try new sports and enjoy a wide range of free activities throughout the summer holidays.

As part of the programme, South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture have organised two fantastic FREE family activity days packed with sport, entertainment and fun.

Wednesday 5 August
📍 East Kilbride Ice Rink
🕑 2.15pm to 3.45pm

Friday 7 August
📍 Hamilton Palace Sports Ground
🕛 12 noon to 4.00pm
Activities include football, beat the goalie, ice skating, arts and crafts, face painting, live entertainment, drumming and much more.
