Congratulations to Tim & Nick, runners-up today in the Llandrindod Wells Pairs Open for the Helen Gough Cup. A hot and sunny day with a great final against Ceredigion locals - Tregaron’s Arwel & Rhian. Congratulations to them on the win, and well done to the Lampeter pair on a brilliant run to the final.

Anwen was invited to speak to the Lampeter History Group about the history of the club since it first opened in 1925.

Following the club’s centenary celebrations last year, Anwen took along a range of memorabilia and historical items that helped bring the club’s story to life.

Brinley also joined the talk, helping answer questions and sharing some of his own memories and stories from over the years. Having been a member for 63 years, his contribution was appreciated.

Thank you to the Lampeter History Group for the invitation and warm welcome.

Neithiwr, cafodd Anwen wahoddiad i siarad â Grŵp Hanes Llanbedr Pont Steffan am hanes y clwb ers iddo agor gyntaf yn 1925.

Yn dilyn dathliadau canmlwyddiant y clwb y llynedd, daeth Anwen â chasgliad o bethau ac eitemau hanesyddol gyda hi i helpu dod â hanes y clwb yn fyw.

Ymunodd Brinley â Anwen hefyd yn ystod y noson, gan helpu ateb cwestiynau a rhannu rhai o’i atgofion a’i straeon ei hun o’r clwb dros y blynyddoedd. Mae Brinley wedi bod yn aelod ers 63 mlynedd.

Diolch i Grŵp Hanes Llanbedr Pont Steffan am y gwahoddiad a’r croeso cynnes.

Yesterday, President Anita and Ceredigion travelled to Beaufort B.C. in Penyglyn to play their first county game of the season.

The format of play featured an 18-player team competing in two pairs, two triples and two fours. Ceredigion came away with a fantastic win, taking victory in 5 of the 6 games with an overall score of 103-84.

Thank you to Beaufort for their hospitality, and to Penyglyn President Pat Cross for her kind words before and after the game.

Cafwyd noswaith hwylus yn y gem rhwng aelodau Ceredigion ac Chaerfyrddin. Yn y diwedd, tìm Caerfyrddin ennillodd.

An enjoyable evening was had in the game between Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire members. Following a close game, Carmarthenshire managed to win this year.

A great day down at Lampeter Bowling Club today hosting the CBMC 2 Wood Day. Thank you to everyone who competed, marked games, helped in the kitchen and behind the bar, and to the green keepers for preparing the green - and everyone else who helped throughout the day.

It was fantastic to welcome so many visitors through the gates, with a busy atmosphere around the club all day alongside the netball competition next door. Thank you all for your support and for enjoying our hospitality.

Diwrnod gwych yng Nghlwb Bowlio Llanbed heddiw yn cynnal Diwrnod 2 Goed CBMC. Diolch i bawb a fu’n cystadlu, yn marcio’r gemau, yn helpu yn y gegin ac y tu ôl i’r bar, ac i’r tîm lawnt am baratoi’r lawnt - a phawb arall a helpodd drwy’r dydd.

Roedd hi’n braf croesawu cymaint o ymwelwyr o trwy’r gât, gyda awyrgylch prysur iawn o amgylch y clwb drwy’r dydd ochr yn ochr â’r gystadleuaeth pêl-rwyd drws nesaf. Diolch i chi gyd am eich cefnogaeth ac am fwynhau ein croeso.
