LAST POST - (Craig Wood) As you may already know I left to become Head of Aquatics at an international school in Thailand last year and the AJTC club continued to run the triathlon event this year with great success. I will now be closing down this site at the end of the week in order for the club to start a new page.

I have a job opening for a swim coach in Thailand and hope my FB friends/coaches can help.
I'm looking for a female swim coach/teacher must hold a degree for Visa purposes! preferably in a sports related field but not essential, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to coach and teach swimming abroad or a sports graduate with an interest in swimming.The job role comes with a competitive salary & accommodation on site.
this is an amazing opportunity to work in a competitive swim team environment.
Would also suit an age group athlete wanting to work and train in the sun:)

CALLING ALL POTENTIAL TRIATHLON COACHES!
Can you please let me know if you'd be interested in doing a Level 1 Triathlon coaching course. I am in the process of organising one on the island and it would be good to know numbers. Hopefully in Feb. 3 days (one weekend and another single day at a weekend a few weeks later.) NO Experience needed, this is for those who are beginners to triathlon coaching. It would be great to have at least 4 or 5 more parents (or interested community members) as coaches.

The next Island-to-Island Triathlon Festival is planned for Saturday 1st June 2019. Details to follow on how to sign up. All monies raised will go to support Arran Junior Triathlon Club.

Hope your all looking forward to the event and your training has gone well.
People that have expressed an interest in marshalling on the day please visit the safety briefing room at the outdoor centre around 9-9:30am on Saturday (this area will be sign posted) you will then meet our event team leaders and positions will be allocated.
Please remember to log your details before leaving so we can send you a link for your free place in next years event. We have had a lot of interest so we can only take the first 12.

Hi All,

Hope training is going well. and you are all looking forward to the event.

------------ Important information---------

1- Please remember your Triathlon home nations membership number, NO membership - £5 on the day.of the event.

2- Parking - Please do not park or drop off along shore road after 10:30am on the day of the event. This will obstruct the view of athletes on the course
Parking is at the High school (this will be sign posted)

Children's events

3- After our last meeting with the local police we are unfortunately having to change the children's events into Aquathlons, This is due to safety issues along shore road.

North Ayrshire Council this year have cut down on the amount of events that it sanctions on Arran so please respect our island and its residents and take home your litter. We have great support from local business and residents regarding our club and the main reason we have gone from strength to strength as a young club.

Look forward to seeing you on the 2nd June & fingers crossed for the same weather as last year!
