This is a Martial Arts Club for Children based on the techniques of Jiu Jitsu which I have spent 27 years learning. My name is Jerry Spary, I am 3rd Dan Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu and I have trained in many clubs under some of the greatest known Instructors of all Martial Arts (Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo, Judo, Karate & Aikido) who visit and train wi
th us in Lambourn regularly. Our Chief Instructor is Shihan John Griffiths of Dartford Jiu Jitsu Club (www.dartfordjujitsu.co.uk), who is 7th Dan Jiu Jitsu, 8th Dan Kenpo, 3rd Dan Aikido & 2nd Dan Judo. My personal Instruction has come from Sensei John Plumbridge 6th Dan Jiu Jitsu & 2nd Dan Judo and Sensei Alan Murphy 6th Dan Jiu Jitsu of Staines Mushin Bushikan (www.stainesjujitsu.co.uk). Three years ago I started a Adult Jiu Jitsu Club in Lambourn (Lambourn Mushin Bushikan). Each club has its own style, I work on the principle that if you cannot be held or struck then you are able to deal with any situation, I think it is very important also that you are able to control your response and stay within the Law. Jiu Jitsu will teach you how to evade an attack and how to deal with it swiftly and effectively. However, Jiu Jitsu is much more than that, over time I have come to realise how important it is to belong to a Group that you will know for many many years to come. Some of the techniques are very hard to learn and will take years to master but the feeling when you get it is second to none.
