Another successful course this weekend at the dojo in Lambourn, this time focusing on posture and positional awareness. Great to have insights from such talented martial artists on these courses. A big thank you to Sensei Steve Chappell from Tora Judo Kai, Sensei's Roy and Paul, Sensei Rod Hayward, and Sensei Bradley Smith Brodley Smoth and Laura J Watson from Kyu Shin Kan Aikido.

Thanks to everyone that attended the course this Sunday, we hope you all enjoyed yourselves and hopefully went away with some new ideas to play with.

May bank holiday weekend will be the next opportunity to train with you guys. Sensei Blackwell will be attending the BBK course in Woolacombe, and I (Craig) will be attending the IBC course in Kettering. Hope to see some of you again soon!

This is notice of a small course we're hosting on:

Sunday 15th May 2016

10.30 - 3.30

Come early, stay late, come late, leave early. Whatever!

Dojo opens at 10.00. Map attached. Tea and biscuits provided – sometimes more sustenance turns up but nothing guaranteed!

This is another advanced training opportunity. Aimed at dan grades (not necessarily aikido dan grades!) so you guys can push the envelope a bit.

The theme for the day is “Practice and Study”. Basically a very free form practice opportunity to recap on previous play times and look at principles across disciplines. Also, to enjoy practice at bits that aren’t your main art and see what you can take to this and bring away from it.

Please share this info with anyone that may be interested. If you plan on coming along, please send us a PM on here to confirm, and space is limited.

Kyu grades won’t be turned away, but I shall not differentiate the practice for them so they may become cannon fodder for you...

No fees, but you buy your own beer!
