Well, that was an eventful race 2. In a good and bad way. I felt racey from the start and had a cracking go off the line. A few laps in and while I was challenged for position, we made contact (still debating who's fault it was, but we went for racing incident) and I lost a couple of places while Mr Fulcher spun out :(. So, I kept going and I was visibly faster than the group of cars ahead. Managed to overtake one (although a bit of a dodgy move half on the grass), anyway, we came up against a back marker and I felt like I'm pulling a Mika Hakkinen vs Schumacher at Spa. It was not ment to be tho, and again contact!! Argh!!! Steve said "he felt something inside him", that was me on the inside of Paddock, he fairly shut the door and we touched. We both managed to wiggle back. Still in the hunt. A lap later and I got a massive front lock and the car just died. I managed to pull over and resume to finish the race.
On one side, I am pleased with how racey I was, stood my ground, sent it nicely a few times, won some battles. On the other hand, bashed the car a little bit and for the first time, I visited the Clerk of the Course for the incidents above. 🤔💪🏁
On board videos to follow. Thanks Stacey for the pics!
