Welcome to Day 3 of BS National Finals...

This moring we have our Auchtermuchty Ladies playing at 9.30am, good luck Ladies.

At 12noon we have our D7 Over 55 Singles, Lynn playing on Green C, bestbof luck Lynn.

We then have our U25 Singles, Amy playing at 2.30pm.

Bowls Scotland D7 Ladies.
Day 2 saw our Over 55 Fours from Auchtermuchty (Sharon, Annette, Margaret & Lorrinae) win 14-10, progressing to the next round tomorrow at 9.30am (Green C, Rink 1),

Our Over 55 Singles from Windygates (Lynn Stein), won 21-12, progressing to next round tomorrow at 12noon (Green A, Rink 5).

Well Done Ladies, good luck tomorrow Ladies!

We also have Under 25 Singles from Markinch (Any Blyth) playing 2.30pm, (Green B, Rink 6)

Well here we are, Day 2 of National Championships at Ayr, Northfield.

Today see start of Ladies Over 55 Games with Lynn Stein (Windygates) playing at 5pm on Green E, Rink 6. We also have Auchtermuchty Over 55 Fours (Sharon, Annette, Margaret & Lorraine), playing at 3.30pm on Green B, Rink 3.

Tomorrow sees the start of National Finals 2026 at Northfield, Ayr.

Good Luck to all Ladies playing this year. You have done well to get here. Enjoy the experience and the atmosphere of the finals.

Bowls Scotland Ladies D7

Well now that the dust has settled and everyone has had time to celebrate or think what might have been, I would like to give my thanks to you all.

Firstly, my thanks to Clubs who provided greens, markers and umpires for all First Stage D7 Games. Special thanks to those Clubs who helped me out at last minute with venue or day/time changes, it is much appreciated.

Sunday saw finals at Cupar and I must thank them for hosting District Finals. To Markers Dave & Susan, Scoreboard Markers Brian and Cherise, Bar Staff Wullie and especially to ladies in the kitchen, I thank you all for helping make the day the success it was. A special mention to Darcy for taking control of the Live Scoring throughout the day, keeping those not able to attend updated.

Now, the main event, the games. What can I say, there was some great bowling during morning and afternoon and this can be seen in scores. For some it was first time playing in this type of event and you should be proud of yourself for reaching this stage, take the experience as I'm sure you'll be back in the future.

Fours - Jane Anderson, Ann Bone, Julie Sword & Lynn Stein (Windygates & Durievale)

I am sure our 2026 D7 Ayr Squad will do well at National Finals this year. As District Coordinator I am and always will be proud of everyone who goes forward to represent D7 win or lose, go out there and first and foremost enjoy the experience.

Thank you all for a successful Stage 1 here's to Stage 2 and bringing back the silverware to Fife!!
