Following our AGM on Friday, we are delighted to introduce the new officials of Knighton Town Football Club for the 2026/27 season.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Gary Cooper, who has been appointed Honorary President of the club in recognition of his outstanding dedication, commitment, and hard work over the past 20 years.

As we move forward, we are committed to building a positive, united, and welcoming environment for everyone involved with the club. Together, with the support of our members,, juniors, volunteers, supporters, and the wider community, we look forward to an exciting future for Knighton Town Football Club.

Fin signs for the Town! 🚨

Young prospect Finley Williams has agreed to join the robins, becoming our first summer signing! Fin has spent his youth footballing years playing for Newtown, but has decided to choose Knighton as his pathway into men’s football. Fin is a local lad and will be a great addition to the club.

A massive congratulations to our talisman Kieran Dovey, our top goal scorer Luke Boundford and our rock at the back Shane Sutton for there inclusions in the team of the season. A fantastic achievement!

Town 0 - 3 Porthmadog

A game of what if last night, town missed a few chances at 0-0 and were unlucky not to take the lead before falling behind to Port just before halftime. Town were always in the game at 1-0 and inevitably had to commit bodies forward to try square up the game and that was there undoing, a great counter attack from port and an even better strike saw it go to 2 with 10 minutes to go, and in the dying minutes they sealed it with another quick slick move and great finish.

What a fantastic year for the club really putting Knighton back on the footballing map. Thank you to absolutely everybody who has been to support us on our journey this season, it carried on last night and the following we took to Aberystwyth on a Tuesday night was incredible. We hope we’ve given you a team to be proud of.

Congratulations to Porthmadog, a massive club with fantastic fans. All the best in tier 2 from all at KTFC.

Time for a well deserved rest, we go again next year as we look to make more memories.
