Clwb Pel-Droed Aberffraw Football Club 0 - 7 Town

A routine day at the office for the robins coming away from Anglesey with a place in the next round. Town got there selves in front when a Harley Morris (Bob Morris and sons carpet fitting) corner was headed in by Jack Davies (Studio 54). On the stroke of halftime Finley Williams (available to sponsor) got his first goal for the club after vollying home from a Luke Boundford (Presteigne tyre services) knock down. The second half saw more of the same, Boundford followed in to make it 3, before sub Louis Scott (Available to sponsor) scored his first first team goal, before quickly adding another to make it 5. Town managed to keep there cool whilst tempers flared around them, with our discipline remaining professional as the home team went to 10 men and picked up 9 cards to Knightons 0. Jack Hoyle (available to sponsor) then headed home to make it 6, before Luke Boundford rounded off the scoring in added time. A clean sheet for the back 5 consisting of Ben Davies (Oaker wood leisure), Flynn Morris (Clun Egg Company), Adam Worton (Heavy Hitters Gym), Jack Davies (studio 54), and Will Evans (KTSC supporters club). A host of chances missed to add further to the tally, but a professional job done away from home.

Thank you to Aberffraw for the hospitality and we’d like to wish you all the best for the season, and thank you to the Referee for keeping the game under control.

Thank you to all the supporters that made the trip, was nice to see so many robins in Anglesey!

🟡⚫️ BIG game for Berffro this Saturday as we face Knighton Town Football Club in the Round 1 proper of the FAW Amateur Trophy this Saturday. It's a 13:00 kickoff at Cae Cynlas.

After two weeks without a game, the lads will be well up for the challenge against a well established Tier 3 side who were so close to Tier 2 promotion last season.

Once again, your support would be very much appreciated.

Lets get right behind the lads, make some noise and make this a day to remember.

The reserves host Llandrindod Wells tonight in a 7.30ko in what will be a hard encounter against a side who have played Tier 3 for recent years.

Radnor Valley FC Res 4-3 Reserves.

A narrow defeat for the reserves in the opening game against a good Radnor side. We found ourselves 2-0 with 2 quick fire goals in 6 mins. Taylor Wozencraft (Sponsored by B Traylor Carpentry & Roofing) got us back in the game when the ball fell to him in the box and put it in the back of the net. Radnor regained a 2 goal lead directly from kick off with lob from the halfway.
After HT we found ourselves 4-1 down when Radnor made no mistakes from the spot after a penalty was awarded. We reduced the deficit when Jack Brindley (Sponsored by Absoulte Arborists) got on the end of Henry Shaws (Sponsored by The Banc) cross. The last 20 town put the pressure on, we were only able pull one more back Leon Morris (Available to Sponsor) got the 3rd in the 90+1 with a volley into the top corner from the edge of the area.

We move onto Friday when we host Llandrindod FC in a 7.30ko.
