Follifoot Cricket Club Founded in 1846, Follifoot Cricket Club is one of the country’s oldest cricket clubs.

Set within picturesque grounds, the club operates two senior sides and a thriving junior set up, as well as a mid week T20 team.

The curtain falls on the 2026 season this weekend, with both sides in action for the final time as Aire-Wharfe clubs ahead of Follifoot’s move into the YPLN next season.

Our 1st XI, buoyed by last week’s triumph over Shadwell, are making the journey over to Rodley with a spring in their step, while the 2nd XI are hosting Adel in an interdivisional contest to close out the year. Notably, Follifoot juniors Harry Slater and Monty Scales are due to make their senior debuts in that clash at the Bullring - our congratulations and best wishes go to the pair of them. We also want to wish both sides the very best of luck for one final time in 2026! 🐂

Tomorrow’s home 2nd XI fixture vs Adel is being sponsored by club stalwart and Vice President, Richard Holgate. We’d like to thank Richard for his generous support of the club, well we’d also like to thank our primary shirt sponsor, Nomad Catering, for having our back across this season as well!

LAUNCHING IN 2027… FOLLIFOOT WOMEN’S 1ST XI 🐂🏏

Starting next season, Follifoot CC will be fielding its first ever women’s side. We’re looking to recruit players of all abilities and levels of experience to play and train at our scenic Bullring ground.

This weekend marks 2026’s penultimate matchday, with both sides looking to bounce back from narrow losses in last week’s rain affected fixtures. The 1st XI play at the Bullring for the final time this year, facing off against Shadwell, while the 2nd XI will be travelling over to Thackley for their last away visit of 2026. The very best of luck goes to both sides!

This weekend, the 1st XI will be making the short trip over to Ilkley, where they’ll be facing off in this season’s second contest against a side jostling for the title in the division above. At home, meanwhile, the 2s will be hosting Skipton CC and looking to go one step further than they managed in last weekend’s tight loss to Saltaire. The very best of luck goes to both sides 🔥🐂!

In our 180th Anniversary Year, we’ve set up a JustGiving page to support the club’s future growth and development, both on and off the field.

We’re hoping to invest in the club’s playing and training facilities, including provisions for girls’ and women’s cricket, as well as our burgeoning junior section. Added to this, our long-term ambition is to build a modern, state of the art pavilion befitting of our beautiful Bullring ground.
