Not sure where to get started with strength training?
Over the next few weeks Iāll be breaking down the basics and helping you understand why strength training is one of the best investments you can make in your health, strength and independence as you age.
I feel that social media has just led to more confusion for a lot of people. And I really donāt want fear of āgetting it wrongā be a barrier to people starting strength training and reaping the benefits.
So this first post in my Strength Foundation series asks the basic question,
What is Strength Training and how can it help me?
Strength (resistance) training is simply lifting an external weight, and or body weight, against gravity to challenge your muscles and make them adapt to get stronger.
Why does that matter?
Strength & muscle mass play a huge role in
