When you just got to dig deep

Never in a million years did I ever think I would create a new career path for myself. I have owned, and still own, a private tutoring business for 12 years yet I decided I needed to add more to my life, to grow in more ways and to get back to what I love most teaching….

1 year on and I’ve added 4 qualifications to my name. I now have lots of regular weekly classes in Born, Trip, Combat and Shapes. It’s been a long tough road but I am so happy that I took this leap and aswell as building ‘Born to Move’ in schools and the local community with the most incredible kids, I also get to spend time with the most wonderful gym members who come to my other classes… These members are what make my job so soecial, to see their smiling (sometimes grimacing) faces, to have the playful banter and to connect with each and every one of them is incredible but mostly to know we are all working hard and making the change together is the best feeling in the world.

Thankyou to each and every member of Brimhams who make my job so enjoyable and incredible each and every day!

Well done to every school who made the effort to bring their students, and a massive well done to the event organisers - I will definitely be involved next year … one for the memory bank that’s for sure!!
