Into the next round of the county cup for the lads today, as we came away 6-3 winners this afternoon

After taking a controlling 3-0 lead at half time thanks to Sam, James and Crawley the lads wanted to focus up and push for the full 90

We then extended our lead through a brilliant second from James but the game became a back and forth match after this, with the oppositions capitalising on mistakes either side of Crawley’s second to grab three goals before a late sixth from Bramley (sponsored by G.M Tiling Northampton)

Work to be done in defending our goal and maintaining our levels, but into the next round and focus back to the league next week

Big saves from Ze Katte stepping in between the sticks today, and deserved a clean sheet!

All the best to Drayton Grange for the rest of their season!

Cup Action tomorrow at Kislingbury as we host Drayton Grange FC in the County Cup in a 2pm kick off at Beech Lane

The lads will be looking to replicate last weeks first half efforts and extend them for a 90 minute performance against the visitors, after a solids week work on the training pitch

After some much needed rain for the pitches this week, it looks like dry conditions and perfect weather for some cup action, so many thanks to those able to come over to support the sides!

The points were shared this afternoon as the lads let a lead slip and failed to capitalise on a superb first half to draw 2-2 with Harpole Reserves

A game of two halves with our performance, letting our levels drop after a brilliant start, and disappointment to have let a lead slip from two set pieces that wouldn’t be given any other week, but we still need to do better from those moments

Strong performances across the pitch Saturday, with things going against us to not secure a better result on the road

But a standout from one of our new signings Kingsley, who stood firm at the back as well as being excellent in possession to and helping us to progress play and be a threat at set pieces

Final Score

Defeat on the road as the heavens opened over at Corby Rovers this afternoon, with the hosts taking the two chances we let them have to find the net in both halves

The lads did get a goal back through Bramley (Sponsored by G.M Tiling Northampton) however couldn’t then find the equaliser despite pushing hard

We felt we were the better team, but it’s only the score line that counts, so disappointment but back to the training pitch at least this week with our next game on Saturday as we host Harpole Reserves

The teams find themselves joint on points in the early stages of the league, so a tough test as always against Rovers awaits the lads

Another superb performance Wednesday in our 2-0 win, with another great clean sheet

Back to back clean sheets for the lads, with this weeks top performance coming from Justin at right back to help us to that, keeping the opposition and more importantly himself quiet 😉
