Which class do I even pick?🙋‍♀️

We get this question a lot from parents whose kids have never danced before — so here's the easy answer, sorted by age:

2.5–4 yrs: Ballet Nursery — playful, sensory, just moving to music
4–7 yrs: Classic Kids / Groovy Kids — building confidence, no pressure
6–8 yrs: Ballet Basics — first real technique
8–10 yrs: Tap Grade 1&2 — rhythm clicks fast at this age, even from zero

No experience needed for any of them. Just comfy clothes and a bit of excitement.

One of the best things about running a dance school is seeing where our students end up xx

These four lovely ladies were once part of our JDO classes, and look at them now!

Two are now studying at university
Two have gone on to become professional dancers

We’re so proud of the women they’ve grown into and everything they’re achieving. It’s so lovely to stay in touch with our past students and see the different paths they take.

JDO will always be home 🫶
