Just back from seeing the fabulous at the cinema.
Thank you and for your beautiful portrayal of Orkney and opening up your personal journey to the world.
We can all relate to parts and characters in the movie.
For background my mother was born on as were her father and mother and their parents so Papay is very close my heart and part of my DNA and of course a favourite kayaking destination.
Go see the the movie and you can see the wildness of Orkney's north isles.!
I have been working at the north pier in Papay this year, attached some photos from my summer out there

Delighted to have been assisting with coaching at Shetland Canoe Club 's symposium 2024. A fantastically well run event with a great community of local and visiting paddlers and off course the best 'fattie cutties' ever ro be made outside Orkney!
Working alongside Michal on Saturday where we found some great advanced conditions for rock hopping and a lovely glassy calm paddle and coach session with Zoe Robinson exploring the endless caves, tunnels and stacks at Ronas Voe on Sunday..
Thanks Shetland, till next time!😊

Almost coming back down to earth after a fantastic week on board exploring the Isles of Barra, South Uist and North Uist.
The planned crossing to St Kilda was not possible but we had fantastic six days exploring caves, islands, abandoned castles, wild sandy beaches, sea eagles, dolphins, climbing the rigging, eating amazing food and enjoying a peedie dram of .gowrum .
Thanks to Rambo and James for co-guiding, Stefan, Nancy and Harris for crewing the lovely ship and mostly to the lovely group of folk who came along for the experience and credit to you guys the photos! ( none of them taken by me)
