Morning Bears 🐻

Some of the committee met on Monday night and we wanted to share a bit of what we were discussing and starting to plan 📢

🔹40th Anniversary Celebrations🔹
We’re contacting 5 stars to get some ideas of who will be available to visit round about March April next year. We’re throwing some thoughts around a meal and some speakers but we are happy to take any suggestions or opinions if you want to add anything.

🔹Fundraising🔹
Arranging a bingo night and maybe a quiz/race night too 🍻👌🏼 All fundraisers from now until then will go towards our Anniversary event to try and cut costs for all members.

First of all thank you to everyone who came to the tent on a wet County Show Day. We loved seeing you all and really appreciate all the support 🤩👌🏼

▪️Reminder that the online form for memberships is pinned at the top of the page. If you would like a paper form or know anyone who is not on Facebook who would like a paper form please let us know and we can arrange this.

▪️Anyone requiring tickets for games please get in contact with Jayne Fraser who will be more than happy to assist.

▪️We’ll start a new group chat for all the new and returning members for this season over the next couple of days

We are sorry for the radio silence after the EGM, it was again another poor turnout but thank you to all that attended and all that sent apologies. We have been getting things finalised and are now able to inform you of the following.

All office bearers have stepped down and all roles were filled by the following.
Chairman: Craig Rosie
Vice chair: Christopher Goetz
Secretary: Jayne Fraser
Treasurer: Karen Fraser

Committee members: Andy Gunn, Alan Findlay, Julie Bellshaw, Kevin Bellshaw, Karen Laughton, Neil Docherty, Trevor Kinghorn

This years membership renewals/sign ups will be a little different, there will be forms available at the tent on County show day or there will be an online form posted on this page that can be filled in and money can be transferred to the club. If you know of anyone who is unable to complete there registrations in either of the ways above then please message the page and we can post the forms out.
Raffle tickets- we have 2000 tickets to sell in quite a short period of time, if you can help sell these message the page and we will get them to you.

We will be holding a 40th celebration this year but more information on this will follow after County Show so keep your eyes peeled.

As for County show we are looking for helpers in the tent and donations for the bottle stall if this is something you can do please get in touch.
