Orkney Training Group

Orkney Training Group Orkney Training Group Ltd is a non-profit making organisation, aiming to provide standard and tailor made courses at affordable prices.

The organisation originally started as a freelance training provider for the land based sector after taking on the West Mainland Training Group in 1997. In 2001, we amalgamated with the East Mainland Training Group and became the Orkney Training Group Ltd. In 2008 we expanded into the construction sector. Orkney Training Group Ltd became an accredited training and test site for Construction Plant

Competence Scheme (CPCS) and in 2012 became National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) accredited, allowing us to offer industry recognised plant training to the local construction industry. In 2008 we also became an approved SQA centre, allowing us to offer Scottish and National Vocational Qualifications (SVQ & NVQ) in Plant Operations. We also offer LANTRA and In-house plant training courses.
