The man Liams prep progress, also halfway now.

8.5 weeks in and 8.5 weeks out from the first show of many for the Scottish season. Currently sitting at 90.5kg about 9/10kg down from our peak off season weight.

Liam last showing was in junior men’s physique placing 2nd at 77kg so fair to say we’ve managed to slap on some serious muscle on to move up to classic physique this time round. Coming for the top spot this year.

Big man Darren’s prep progress so far at the half way point.

10 weeks in and 10 weeks to go.

Currently about 11kg down so far and stuck to the plan to a T as expected. This will be Darren’s first time out on stage and smashing this first prep like a seasoned competitor. Really looking forward to this one.

This is how you do an offseason. After coming off stage last year we wanted to bring up Liam’s legs to move from men’s physique into classic bodybuilding.

We pushed his calories from sub 1500 at the end of prep to 5000+ now at peak offseason.

A big focus on legs training them 2x per week and pushing BW from 77kg to 99kg.

The offseason transformation might not appear to be as “exciting” as prep but this is where you make the changes needed to be better next time. Can’t wait to peel down and see what’s underneath next year.

Great first show for Laura today taking home placings in 4 classes today at FMC.

Laura came to me back in November with the intention to compete in her first bodybuilding show. Prep isn’t easy (especially with 5 kids 🤯) but she’s turned up everyday giving it her all and I couldn’t be more proud. A few days off then we get planning for next year 🎯

My own 10 year transformation (15-25)

On the left here I was low in confidence and really didn’t like how skinny I was at 59kg. So I decided to start bodybuilding training 5x per week and quickly fell in love with the process of getting bigger and stronger.

People often talk about their genetics and whether it’s worth it to put in the time and effort it takes to build the physique they want. As a natural ectomorph, I don’t think 10 years ago anyone was saying I had a good structure or genetics for building muscle let alone be able to compete as a bodybuilder.

In order to see your true potential you’ve got to stick at this game for a long, long period of time so you’ve got to genuinely enjoy the process first. Never missing sessions, never missing meals for months/ years on end.

If you’re in a similar position, I specialise in body transformations and would like to help you achieve similar results.

Here’s to the next 10 as I can’t see myself doing anything else.
