Would you like the opportunity to experience an hour of guided meditation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere?
A three week series is starting this Sunday, 7th June, 7pm.

These meditation classes are an opportunity for the attendee to spend an hour delving deeper into their inner landscape.
The classes are held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere - perfect for beginners or seasoned practitioners.

How does it work?
The class can be taken in a seated position or lying down, whatever is preferred to the attendee. We start with some grounding and relaxation techniques which may involve, moving the body a little and using light Breathwork. Then the class will be guided on a journey of the senses and imagination before being brought back into the body and the here and now. This will last for around 45 minutes and then the last 15 minutes will be used for self practice, reflection or even some journaling.

What are the benefits?
The research on the benefits of meditation are numerous but to name a few:

More self awareness – Improved sleep – Increased clarity
Openness to opportunity – Improved interactions with others – More energy and wellbeing – More productivity – Creativity and innovation – Less physical tension – Channel anxiety into something useful – Greater joy and contentment – Ability to be present and live in the moment

This class is part of a three week series but each class can be taken as a singular event, if preferred, as each class will have it’s own stand alone theme.

I used to deal with excruciating pain in my hips and lower back that would just appear for what seemed no apparent reason, even after the worst of my chronic illness had gone into remission. I was desperately researching reasons and remedies when I came across a very old looking pdf online. Unfortunately I can’t find it anymore to share the original creator but one of the exercises it said to try was this one I am doing in the video.
I know I’ve been neglecting strength in my hips and lower back when the pain comes back and this is an amazing quick fix for me. But it is just one part of the puzzle, and to stay well we must choose to make an effort every day.
