Lenzie started strong and had us on the back foot. We managed to get a foothold in the game midway through the 1st half. Couple of mistakes gave away goals. Something we need to be better at.

2nd half blitzed them early and got ourselves 2 up and a great strike to round off the scoring.

Good effort from all the boys today.

1st League Game of the season and the boys have a tasty tie against local rivals Lenzie. Boys know what to expect from them and are ready for the challenge.

Good win midweek against a really good Carbrain team. They did go down to 10-men and were still on the front foot. Both teams cancelled each other out at times. With not alot of goalmouth action.

The boys took their goals well! 👏🏻

A GAME OF TWO HALVES ⚽️🔴🟡🔵⚽️

Not our day today.

For the first 25 minutes, we simply didn’t turn up. We were second best, lacked our usual energy and gave ourselves a mountain to climb.

We eventually started to get a bit of control towards the end of the first half, and the second half was a completely different performance. Much more like ourselves, better intensity, better football and plenty of pressure created.

There were certainly a few decisions that went against us, with three penalty appeals that we felt were strong, but we can't rely on decisions going our way. We have to make sure we're better from the first whistle.

Credit to the boys for turning the performance around and fighting until the end. 💪

Sometimes you learn more from a defeat than a win.

We'll take the lessons, dust ourselves down and go again. 🔴🟡🔵

This Saturday we are heading along to ASDA Bishopbriggs for a bit of bag packing, a bit of fundraising and hopefully a lot of laughs! 😂

📅 Saturday 15th August
⏰ 12:30pm – 5:00pm
📍 ASDA Bishopbriggs

The boys will be helping pack your shopping bags while raising funds for the team. Every penny helps us keep the boys playing, training and developing. 🔴🟡🔵
