How many of you fall of the wagon because of one little set back?
In my experience it’s a high number.
A saying that has always stuck with me is if you had one flat tyre would you slash the other three? Well I think I can safely say the answer to that question is no. So why after one bad meal, one night of indulging, one small pain in your shoulder or leg do you throw in the towel?
Just draw a line under the calorific day and get back on track. Why would you stop doing all the right things because of one bump in the road - makes no sense! If your shoulder hurts do lower body and upper movements that don’t hurt. Same with lower do upper workouts. Think what can I do as opposed to what can’t I do.
Often it’s your mindset that needs to change. How you frame situations and life’s curve balls.
I say catch them, acknowledge them, learn from them if there is a lesson and get back on that wagon!
