we have around 35 lady members, with handicaps going from 4 to 36. We are a friendly section who love to welcome new members and players to the game

We have also recently introduced 9 hole competitions if you feel 18 holes is too much to start off with?!

We had our season opening competition scheduled today, Captain v Vice Captain, unfortunately the weather beat us, with very strong winds and rain, therefore we decided to have indoor games instead - pool, darts, putting and cards.

Well done to the Vice Captains team winning 6 & 4.

Fun and laughter had by all.

Hopefully the weather will improve for our next competition x

The Ladies Section Christmas Raffle was a huge success, with the draw completed yesterday by Santa after the kids Christmas party;

Proceeds from the raffle were split between the Ladies Section, The Cottage Family Centre and Alfie Good (one of our juniors who is undergoing treatment for brain cancer, we wish you a speedy recovery Alfie and hope to see you back at the golf soon).

Thank you to all the Ladies who donated prizes and all those visitors to Dunnikier Park Golf Club who purchased raffle tickets.

The Auld V Young competition is scheduled for Monday 29th December 2025, always a fun day, shotgun start, with food, games and drinks in the clubhouse afterwards.

We have three ladies teams entered so far, always room for more ladies 😀⛳🏌🏼‍♀️⛳⛳🏌🏼‍♀️🏌🏼‍♀️🏌🏼‍♀️x

Our Ladies Section are running a Christmas raffle, tickets are on sale at the bar £1 per strip. The draw will be completed on Sunday 14th December.
First prize is a Christmas Cake (currently being made).
Second prize the hamper displayed on the bar.
We also have three smaller hampers, a beauty hamper and a bottle of gin as third, fourth, fifth and sixth prizes Xmas 🎁🤶🤶☃🔔

We held our Ladies presentation of prizes last night, well done to all the winners and a huge well done to Lorna winning Player of The Year 🏆⛳️
We had a lovely meal in the clubhouse, then lots of fun games and laughtear 😊

Well done Lorna, another great win yesterday at Fife Golf - Winter Meeting at Strathtyrum, St. Andrews - 40 stableford points , winning the Ann Smith Quaich xx

Well done Lorna and her playing partner Elaine, winning the best scratch trophy at the SSWGA at Blairgowrie Golf Club at end of September.

Also great scoring to Brogan (scratch 79) at the East of Scotland Championships at Elie Golf Club last week.

A huge thank you to Paddy from Fojcik Fireplaces for our Ladies outing at Charleton Golf Club yesterday, golf, food and prizes, such generosity. The ladies all had a fantastic day and really appreciate your kindness.

The golf course was in great condition, the food and welcome in the clubhouse were brilliant.

We had lovely weather yesterday for our Mixed Greensomes Open, the course was in great condition and we were all well looked after by the bar and catering team.

Our Ladies section held our annual Food Hamper Charity golf competition last Sunday, with £60 donated in cash and lots of items donated, thank you to all who donated.

Thank you also to Gail for organising the event and delivering the donated goods and money to The Cottage Family Centre 😊 x
