Nice performance tonight from our Raith Rapids against a very good Woodside team that’s been together for a long time and rarely tastes defeat. I thought we started a bit slowly, which was to be expected with the number of new boys making their first appearance tonight. Once we got going and started pressing a bit higher up the pitch, our passing improved, we looked much more composed, and there was some really nice link-up play throughout the team.

The new lads have settled in brilliantly, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the team gel and progress over the next few months. Special mention to Big Bad Bobby for a tremendous performance. Corbin grabbed four goals tonight, Rabs Man of the Match goes to Jacob for an excellent, commanding display. Well done, wee man! Refs Man of the Match was Corbin for some great strikes tonight with the best being a great team passing sequence ending up with an awesome volley low past the keeper.

🏇 What a Night! 🏇

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent Rapids Race Night at Styx Kirkcaldy.

From the first race to the last, it was a fantastic evening filled with laughter, excitement, 'friendly' competition and plenty of memorable moments.

A special thank you to everyone who bought horses, purchased raffle tickets, donated prizes, helped organise the event and supported the boys throughout the night. Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the incredible backing we receive from parents, families, friends and sponsors.

We'd also like to especially thank Styx Kirkcaldy for hosting us and for their continued support of the Rapids.

Most importantly, thank you to the boys themselves. Whether they were studying the race cards, cheering on their horses, helping with the raffle or proudly showing off the signed shirt prize, they were a credit to the club throughout the evening.

The funds raised will help support the team and create more opportunities for the boys both on and off the pitch.

🌧️ Tuesday night looked a little like this... ⚽

While the rain poured down, the boys got on with it. Soaked through, covered in rain and still smiling.

Grassroots football isn't always sunshine and perfect pitches. Sometimes it's wet socks, muddy boots and training in a Scottish summer downpour!

The commitment shown by the boys on Tuesday night was fantastic, and they're back out doing it all again tonight.

The coaches have their wellies ready... we're not quite sure the weather has got the memo yet! 😂

That's grassroots football. Commitment, resilience, friendships and a love of the game, whatever the conditions.

A good performance from our boys over the weekend. There’s been a lot of changes, with a number of boys moving up and still learning how tough the advanced teams can be. They’re improving every week, working hard together, and showing great commitment as a team.

Our boys kept going, worked hard for each other, and can be proud of the way they conducted themselves today.
