DPGC uses Facebook to notify users of appropriate, approved information about the club and sometimes the course. We invite and encourage club members to like, follow and communicate with fellow members via this so
cial networking site. A moderator will monitor the account on behalf of DPGC to ensure that these guidelines are being adhered to. Our use of this Facebook account is solely for the purpose of communication. This Facebook account is administered by Club Council members who are all volunteers and is generally monitored on an ad hoc basis. Procedures for having ‘questions’ answered by the club council or complaints made to the Club Council has not changed. Constitutionally, questions or complaints must be made in writing addressed to the Honorary Secretary C/O Dunnikier Park Golf Club. We reserve the right to remove any comments or contributions and block accounts that break the rules of the following guidelines:
1. We ask you not to post messages that are deemed to be any of the following:
abusive
defamatory
harassing
harmful
libelous
obscene
profane
racially offensive
sexually offensive
unlawful
Any messages that are deemed to contain comments of such nature will be removed as soon as they are noticed. A record of removals will be maintained and habitual offenders will be blocked from the DPGC page.
2. We ask that you do not swear.
3. We ask that comments be civil and relevant.
4. We ask that you do not post the same or similar messages more than once. We will view this as spam.
5. We ask that you do not publicise your own, or anyone else's, personal information, such as address and telephone number.
6. We ask that you do not pretend to be someone else. These guidelines are not exhaustive and will be reviewed and altered as and when required.
