✍️ NEW SIGNING | BRODIE STRANG

The club are delighted to announce the signing of Brodie Strang, beating off stiff competition to secure his signature ahead of the 2026/27 season.

A talented young midfielder, Brodie joins the club with an excellent footballing pedigree, having previously featured for Dundonald Bluebell, Swifts, Kelty Hearts, Livingston and Linlithgow Rose.

Despite his young age, Brodie brings quality, energy and technical ability to the squad, and we are excited to see him continue his development in the red and black.

Manager Grant Brough said:

“We’re delighted to get Brodie signed. There was a lot of interest in him, so we’re pleased he has chosen Kirkcaldy & Dysart as the next step in his career. He’s a talented midfielder with a great attitude and we believe he has all the attributes to make a real impact for us this season.”

🔴⚫ CONTRACT EXTENSION | RONAN HALL 🔴⚫

We are delighted to confirm that Ronan Hall has agreed a contract extension with Kirkcaldy & Dysart FC ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Ronan joined the club towards the end of last season following a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury, but it didn’t take long for him to make his mark. He quickly became an important part of the group during the closing stages of the campaign.

Manager Grant Brough said:

“Ronan came into the squad after a frustrating period with injury, but he settled in immediately and showed exactly what he can bring to the team. We’re delighted he’s committed his future to the club and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do with a full pre-season behind him.”

Another fantastic evening of 121 sessions at Denfield Park with the sun shining and a great standard on show throughout. ⚽

First up was Pete Thomson, back in after his holiday and working hard to prepare himself for pre-season and the season ahead.

Next was Lucas Berry, who produced an excellent standard throughout the session, continuing to sharpen his game ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Lastly, we had Jake Forrest. After already putting in work earlier in the day, Jake’s attitude, effort, and quality never dropped for a second. A top class session from the young player and a credit to himself. 👏

🔴⚫ NEW UNDER 20s MANAGEMENT TEAM APPOINTED 🔴⚫

We are delighted to welcome Wayne Carroll and Stevie Mellon to Kirkcaldy & Dysart FC as our new Under 20s management team.

Wayne and Stevie join the club after leading the 2008 Raith Rovers Community team since 2016, guiding the players through the age groups and helping develop a talented group of young footballers.

Wayne brings a wealth of experience and will continue in his important role with the Raith Rovers Community Foundation as Trustee and Secretary. Stevie joins after many years working alongside Wayne as assistant coach, while also coaching at grassroots level and continuing to play over-35s football… although we’re hearing retirement may finally be calling!

We are excited to have both of them on board and look forward to seeing them continue the development of our young players as part of the club’s pathway.

We would also like to place on record our sincere thanks to James Burke for his hard work, dedication and commitment to the Under 20s over a number of years.

James has devoted countless hours to helping develop young players and supporting their progression, and his contribution to both the squad and the wider club has been greatly appreciated.

🏆 Fife Football Awards Recognition for Kirkcaldy & Dysart 🏆

A huge congratulations to our own Shay Brough, whose spectacular strike against Whitburn was named Goal of the Season in the 2025/26 Fife Football Awards.

Shay’s goal in our 3-0 victory was described as:

“An exquisite turn and finish from distance. Quite brilliant.”

A moment of real quality that will live long in the memory of everyone who witnessed it.

We are also delighted to see Cammy McGregor recognised with a place in the Fife Football Team of the Season. Cammy has been a consistent performer throughout the campaign and fully deserves his place amongst the very best players in Fife football this season.

To have two players recognised at this level is a fantastic achievement and reflects the progress made both individually and collectively throughout the season.

Congratulations to Shay and Cammy on their well-deserved recognition, and well done to all of the award winners and nominees across Fife football.
