Styx Poker League

Styx Poker League Runs every Sunday from 7pm Registration opens at 6.45pm. New players always welcome. Styx Poker League has been running successfully for 10 seasons.

Each season consists of 10 weeks with week 11 being the top 8 players playing for the trophy and being crowned the season winner.

Styx Sunday Poker League

£22 Entry
£15 per person paid out on the night
£5 per person retained for the Final Table
£2 per person towards running costs
Styx will add £1.50 per player per week to the Final Table pot.

The league will run for 22 weeks and players will use their best 15 weeks.
After 22 weeks the top 7 players will qualify for the Final Table.
The next 8 players will play for the last seat at the Final Table.
There will be no Rebuys or Top-Ups.
The chip stacks for the final table will be relevant to the number of points gained throughout the league. All 22 weeks will count towards the final table chips starting total. Players will receive 100 in chips for each week they play.
Individual week points
1st – 30 + 1500 Chips towards final table
2nd – 23 + 1000 Chips towards final table
3rd – 20 + 500 Chips towards final table
4th – 17
5th – 14
6th – 11
7th – 8
8th – 5
9th-16th – 2
16th – 32nd – 1

Prize fund on the night dependent on entries.
Final table prize fund will be advertised after the final league week.

Head Hunter Tournament

£20 Entry (£15 into prize pot and £5 bounty)
20k starting stack
20 minute blinds (until final table 15 minute blinds)
Break after 4 levels and then before final table.

This tournament will run to normal Texas Hold 'em rules.
Players will be drawn on random tables.
Rebuys will be available for the first 4 levels.
Prize fund is dependent on entries (All monies in paid out).
If you knock a player out of the tournament you win that players bounty (£5). If you get knocked out of the tournament and you have more than one bounty, you only lose your own bounty and keep the rest. Should you win the tournament, you get your own bounty value in addition to the sum of the bounties you have collected & the cash prize for 1st place. If a player is eliminated by two or more players in a split pot, the value of their bounty is awarded to the player with the biggest stack.

We are trying to get the poker off the ground again at Styx Kirkcaldy so we are having weekly tournaments on Sundays at the moment up until Christmas. After Christmas we will be setting up a league with other tournaments planned throughout the year (details to follow).
The Sunday tournaments are as follows:

If a player has not had a rebuy he/she has the option to use the rebuy as an add-on.
