Almost 20 years of teaching Pilates has taught me one thing: your body doesn’t need to follow trends.

I’ve taught just about every version of Pilates you can think of, and I’ve seen the industry change so much over the years.

But the reason I still love what I do hasn’t changed. What Pilates trend do you remember?

I wanted HAAR Pilates to feel like a little escape from the outside world. Somewhere calm and welcoming, a bit like walking into a really lovely and soothing art gallery, but with Pilates.

Natural light, no loud music, beautiful Pilates equipment, cosy clothes and a space where you don’t have to perform or prove anything.

That’s the feeling I wanted HAAR Pilates to have.

Everyone starts somewhere, and it’s my job to guide you, support you, and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door.

I didn’t become a Pilates instructor because I was obsessed with fitness. It kind of happened when I started realising that Pilates wasn’t just exercise.

I started to see how much difference gentle, intentional movement can make- especially for people dealing with pain, stress, or just feeling disconnected from their bodies.

It’s not about pushing harder. It’s about helping people feel a bit more at home in themselves.

Not every Pilates class is programmed the same.

I want you to leave class feeling like you’ve done more than just exercise. I want you to understand your body a little better and build the kind of strength that carries over into everyday life.

Every exercise I teach has a purpose. It’s there to build strength, improve mobility, develop stability, or help you move with more control and confidence. The flow simply connects those pieces together.
