‼️MATCH REPORT‼️

The match started tightly contested as both teams had chances but nothing came of it and both teams went into the glad 0-0.

That would change though as Beath had a ball played through in the 1st minute of the second half and slotted past the keeper to make it 1-0 Beath.

10 minutes later Beath made it 2-0 after a corner was swung in and headed in at the back post.

5 minutes later Beath made it 3-0 after some nice play found the striker who places the ball in the corner.

5 minutes later Beath got another after a ball through finds the man to make it 4-0.

With a minute to go Beath made it 5-0 after a brilliant free kick from 25 yards out finds the far top corner.

Poor from the Toun who let the game get away from them second half and gave Beath an easy win.

LANG TOUN V KETTLE MATCH REPORT

After a few weeks out of action the lads took on Kettle at home in what was to be a good game of football.

The Toun didn’t have to wait long to open the scoring. Ball played out from the back that found Sean Saunders who played a beautiful ball to Jamie Carter who slotted the ball past the keeper into the bottom corner in the first 10 minutes. 1-0

About 20 minutes in Kettle we’re down to 10 men after their striker was sent off for dissent.

10 minutes before the half the Toun made it 2. Ball down the right Chanel to Martin Wallace who vaults his man’s slide tackle attempt and cuts back to Stuart Rae who turns his man on the edge of the box and cheekily chips the keeper with his weak foot. 2-0

Right on half time the ball was played long to Martin Wallace who somehow keeps possession after it bouncing around on the edge of the box. He plays to Calum Gibson who picks out Jamie Carter with a beautifully weighted through ball for Jamie to beat the keeper at the far post with a great finish. 3-0

Not long after the restart, 10 man Kettle made it a game. A long ball played over the top that caught the back line of guard and calmly slots past the keeper to make it 3-1.

Kettle then made it 3-2 after a brilliant through ball was finished past the keeper.

The Toun didn’t give up though as not longer after Kettle scored the lads responded. A ball down the left Chanel to Jamie Carter who doesn’t brilliantly to stay onside and run to the edge of the box and beat the keeper at the near post to make it a hattrick. 4-2

Kettle didn’t give up without a fight though. A free kick on the right hand side crossed into the box and was put in at the back post after a lot of shouts for offside. 4-3

Again, after the restart the Toun responded. Substitute Colin Drysdale gets the ball 30 yards out and scores a goal of the season contender. Colin holds his man off, spins him and fires the ball past the keeper into the top corner. 5-3

Not the prettiest game of football but a good win for the Toun. Hard to pick a MOTM as everyone was excellent. Mon the Toun💙🇪🇪

‼️ MATCH REPORT ‼️

Today we took on Leslie in the Alba Mortgage Solutions Division 1. Initial pressure from the Toun in the opening 30 minutes but no clear cut chances created, Leslie took advantage and went 2-0 up going into the half. Second half was more of the same as the Toun couldn’t create much decent opportunity’s and Leslie were ruthless up top finishing the second half 6-0 victors.
