Well done everyone tonight at the Notts AAA at Walesby Outdoor Activity centre. A testing course across varied terrain; Gravel paths, dirt, grass, sand and splash of tarmac with grass sprint finish!!! Awesome running all 👏🏻🏃‍♀️💨

For all those who attend training this week and through the summer please remember,
Always bring a drink
Wear appropriate clothing
- sun hat and sleeves are always useful
Apply suncream before, and bring some incase a top-up is needed.

There are water fountains on site, at the front of the leisure/pe block, in the leisure/pe corridor and on the front of the technology block if top ups are needed

Reminder that all attendees should be wearing clothing appropriate for the weather, public space, and school site. We do not accept topless training.

Please all stay safe in this hot sunny weather

A quick selection of photos from today’s County Development League Track Meet at Berry Hill. Loads of Harriers out in force across all the events. Fantastic to see! A few PB’s set today as well across both field and track events. Don’t be shy about up about them!! So we can celebrate!! 🙌🏻

Yesterday's Midland Track and Field League had it all, a fantastic team atmosphere rounded off with 4x100m win for the women as the men cruised to a solid 4x400m time with 2 make shift last minute team.

The weather wasn't perfect but the performance showed potential for future events.

The competitiveness across the events were evident with just centimetres separating the top positions in each event.

Many thanks to our Officials, Helpers, Team managers and of course Photographers (full photo album now available in our FB Group.

2nd match is our technical match in June before returning to the full fixture in July

Well done to our 3 athletes competing in the quad kids today!

They competed in 4 events throughout the day including a sprint, throw, jump and finishing with the 600m.

A fantastic start to County champs this morning for Sutton with 3 medals won already.

Well done to Caprice and Alex for silver and bronze in the 400m hurdles. Closely followed by Jordan winning gold, also in the 400m hurdles.

It's looking like a lovely weekend. Good luck to everyone competing😁

Another strong team from Sutton-in-Ashfield Harriers & A.C turned out on a chilly Tuesday night to compete in Race 2 of the The Derby Runner BDL Summer League at Shipley Country park
A great team atmosphere was on show as our athletes tackled hill after hill in this 5 mile race.
First Male Athlete back for us was Leo Cotterill and Tracy Parker was first Lady back for the club.

Great running all round!

Jamie Ellis has hit half way in 1:44 so looking at a sub 3:30 if he can hold this pace (estimated finish time 13:23pm

Johnny Brentnall is also in the same part of the course just slightly behind but moving slightly faster hitting half way hitting half way in 1:38 with a predicted finish time of 3:18
Johnny also has an estimated finishing time 13:24pm.

Can Johnny catch Jamie before the finish?
