After some final checks, a bit of expert guidance, and successful completion of his training, we’re pleased to confirm that Santa is fully certified and ready to deliver on the big day. 🎅🛷

🎄𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸🌟

This Christmas, we want to share something a little more personal.

To our customers, partners, friends and employees, thank you. Your support means a huge amount to all of us at the Collins group of companies, and we never take it for granted.

But this year, Christmas looks and feels different.

Following the loss of our founder, David Collins, we wanted to honour him in a way that reflects what he valued the most - humanity, care, and looking after people properly.

💷 In David’s memory, in lieu of customer gifts this Christmas, the Collins group of companies will be 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 £𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 to the ward at 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 that cared for David and his family with such compassion.

🫶 We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us at David’s funeral. Together, we raised 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 £𝟭𝟵,𝟬𝟬𝟬 for the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity - a cause close to David’s heart, and one that continues to do vital work for our industry.

🩵 If there’s one thing David taught us, it’s that community matters, and that how you treat people will always matter more than what you do.

⌚Please 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝟭𝟭:𝟯𝟬𝗮𝗺, ready to await David’s arrival.

Marshals will be on hand to assist with parking. To help us accommodate as many guests as possible at our Ripley HQ, we kindly ask that you car share or walk where possible. Please note that some delays are expected.

We kindly ask that the privacy of the crematorium service be respected.

💙 We also invite you to 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 in tribute to David.

A live stream of the service will be available from 𝟭:𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺 𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 in the marquee.

Following the streamed service, refreshments and food will be provided as we come together to celebrate David’s life.

This time of remembrance will conclude between 𝟲:𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗺.

As a mark of respect and remembrance, the group of 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀, will observe a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, to pay tribute to its founder, David Collins.

⛳𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲!⛳

On 23rd June, three of our own from Collins Earthworks – Josh Farby, John W, Will P, and a friend – will be tackling 72 holes of golf in a single day across three different venues to help raise funds as part of the Macmillan Longest Day Golf Challenge.

👕To show our support, we're donating funds and kitting them out with embroidered team shirts – we can’t wait to see the team looking sharp and ready to putt their way around the green!
