We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a 2 day Paul Dore Leather basics workshop on the 4th and 5th of July. This course is ideal for anyone that is interested in working with leather and all materials and tools are provided. The workshop is limited to six people to ensure that Paul can give the participants a lot of personal time.
The details are as follows:
This two-day course is intended to give you a basic understanding of leather and the tools and techniques you need to create your own items from it.
You will learn..
• What leather is and how it is produced.
• The different types and applications of leather.
• How to make patterns
• Marking out, cutting and efficient use of the hide
• Using edging tools and edge finishing
• Creating stitch holes
• The different types of thread and how to sew leather
• All about dyes, surface finishes and polishes
• Incorporating buckles and studs etc into your projects

This course is intended to show you the techniques so you can make your own items rather than being a course where you complete a project to take away. As such it is packed full of useful information.
All tools and materials will be provided for the duration of the workshop and a comprehensive handout will be given to each participant upon completion

We are pleased to announce we are collaborating with renown photographer Lucy Saggers to provide a beginner photography workshop.

Are you using your camera on auto? Or are you trying settings but don't really know why you are not getting the results you hoping for, this workshop will give you a clear simple understanding of what is needed to get the most from your camera and to be in control of depth of field. You can create blurred backgrounds or take stunning all in-focus images. The workshop will in a stunning outdoor environment.

Workshop will be held 30th September 10am - 4pm please get in touch for more information or to book.

WE have two scheduled one is from 12noon - 3pm on Wednesday 20th November £30 for a wreath only and the other Sunday 24th November £60 from 10am - 4pm for a wreath and snowman.
