We're a little late putting this one up but better late than never.

Last weekend we were back in our happy place!

We spent another great weekend at Mallory Park for rd3 of East Midland Racing Association (EMRA) .

We thought we had everything sorted for a perfect day of racing but we could never have imagined that our one and only issue for the day would be due to an issue with a brand new rear tyre. I went out for the first rookies race and after a couple of laps the bike just didn't feel right. Unfortunately not being able to push the bike saw us finish race 1 with a 4th in class.

After lots of discussions we decided to swap the rear tyre, that's the only thing that could have been causing the issue I was feeling.

New tyre fitted and back out for race 2 and everything felt good again. It took a couple of laps to get back up to speed but managed a 3rd in class finish and most importantly points scored in both races.

We can't wait for rd4 as it's a 2 day event. The only thing better than a day racing is of course 2 days racing !

As always we like to thank everyone who has helped us and continues to do so. Allan Lain for threatening to give me a slap if my lap times go up instead of down , Adam Masters for his pre race motivational talks, Gaz Pawlak for the non stop entertaining banter, Matt Abell for mucking in wherever necessary, Laura Large who has now upgraded to tyre warmer duty between making sure we are all fed and of course the pit crew Yanni Christofi and Tyler Large.

A special thanks to Chris Hurst at Bikers World Coleshill for helping us out at short notice when we needed new boots, sprockets and oil filters.

What a start to the week!

On a not so sunny bank holiday Monday we were at Mallory park for rd2 with East Midland Racing Association (EMRA) .

I decided to try a couple of changes which didn't quite go to plan but we still managed 2 3rd place finishes putting us 2nd in the Rookie 1000 championship!

To make the day even better, our good friend Allan Lain came away with 4 2nd place finishes in the Mallory trophy and EMRA open and Adam Masters the absolute legend finished the day with a 1st and a 2nd in the Rookie 600!

As always, I have to thank Laura Large for keeping everyone fed and watered and Yanni Christofi and Tyler Large for being the best pit crew anyone could ask for.

Time now for a bit of rest and preparation for rd3 !

We've not posted in a while mainly because our 2024 setup wasn't working for us and we needed to figure out what changes were needed or if we were going to race at all this year.

We decided the way forward was to build a new bike for 2025 and this time, build it our way.

We found a very unloved BMW S1000RR and went to work getting it pulled apart and inspecting every single component in our workshop. The list of faults was so long we have forgotten half of them but we put the hours in and it was definitely the right choice.

We ran the new bike for Round 1 at Mallory Park with East Midland Racing Association (EMRA) yesterday and although we didn't qualify very well, we ended the day with a 4th in race 1 and 3rd in race 2.

We owe a big thank you to PCR Performance for sorting the mapping at short notice and 100% Suspension LTD for rebuilding the front suspension in record time. Also KT Motorsport for helping us with a couple of issues while we were testing the bike last week.

The next job is to make it pretty and get ours and our sponsors logos fitted. Massive thank you to Tamworth Computer Centre and SL Flooring for supporting us through yet another season of racing!

And it's time for round 3!!! It's nice and sunny and we're all set up for a great day of racing!
