Join us at Belle Vue Stables on Sunday 26th July for a fun and confidence-building Pole Work & Jumping Clinic on grass!

Whether you’re just starting out with poles on the ground or looking to tackle a full jumping course, sessions will be tailored to suit each rider’s experience and confidence level.

⏰ Individual time slots between 10am and 3pm

💷 £35 per rider – own horse or loan horse
💷 £55 per rider – limited school ponies available

Great day out at NCPA Cumbria despite the horrendous weather. Well done to the NCPA team for keeping everything running so smoothly.

First up, Oscar and Lilly Lancaster took 1st place in the Veteran Part-Bred TGCA Qualifier. What a day Oscar had — he is so special to all of us here at Belle Vue Stables. Well done, Lily, you rode brilliantly. Eleanor Lancaster

Finally the evenings are slowly starting to draw out, which means over the coming months we’ll begin to resume our later evening lessons bit by bit. We can also start looking forward to those lovely field rides through the spring and summer months 🌱🐎

✨ February Extra Course Dates:

📅 Saturday 14th February – Show Practice
🕐 Session 1: 1:00–2:00pm – Ridden & Conformation

🕑 Session 2: 2:00–3:00pm – Ridden & Conformation

🕒 Session 3: 3:00–4:00pm – In-hand
🔹 One-horse-only course

📅 Monday 16th February – Tiny Tots
🕥 10:30am–12:00pm
👶 Ages 4–7 years
✨ Aimed at our littlest riders — no experience needed

📅 Tuesday 17th February – Pony Pals: Positions & Poles
🕜 1:30–4:00pm
🐴 Riders must be able to ride independently off the lead rein

🐴 WE’RE HIRING: YARD STAFF / GROOM 🐴

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Yard Staff / Groom to join our busy equestrian yard.

Duties will include:

• Completing all aspects of daily horse care
• Grooming and preparing horses for lessons and shows (full training can be provided)
• General yard duties (mucking out, feeding, yard maintenance)
• Preparing horses for riding lessons
• Assisting with riding lessons
• Supporting coach training, with coaching opportunities available for the right candidate
• Some riding available for a suitable and capable rider

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in horse care and yard work
• Is happy to work weekends and flexible hours to suit seasonal demands
• Has their own transport (yard is not on a bus route)
• Is reliable, hardworking, and a team player

✨ Apprentice positions will be considered, and full training can be given where required.
