FIRST ULTRA! Congratulations to UNPAUSE athlete Morag who completed her first last weekend 🎉 Morag has been training with the support of Keri Wallace to nail her nutrition, conditioning and pacing ahead of her A-race. Not even the high winds could stop her, as she made a full circuit of the island - saved by a Tunnock’s bar in the nick of time!

Well done Morag - all that commitment and hard work paid off ⭐️

BLÀ BHEINN - almost. These three pals had a soggy but rewarding attempt at climbing Blà Bheinn on the Isle of Skye, with their brilliant guide Adele. Smiling into the , they had a great experience as a team and got about 100m from the summit before the winds became too strong. A sound mountaineering decision was made to turn around. The will be there another day… as will these three 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

THE BEN RACE. Congratulations to guide Hannah who finished her first Lochaber Athletics Club at the weekend, finishing in 3:00:05. She loved the supportive community vibe with familiar faces out marshalling and spectating. She felt it was a huge win to be back racing, feeling strong and coming back from an ankle injury.

Hannah raced alongside others from the team including Sarah Macdonald 2:24:05, Kirsty Macintyre 2:34:10, Isla MacKay 2:36:43 & Sarah Hodgson 2:17:28 🙌🏽

Huge congratulations to everyone who raced up and down the UK’s highest mountain or who came out in support of this special event 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

What is the SwissPeaks Legend? Only a whopping 397km/27,530m mountain trail race over technical alpine terrain. Another phenomenal performance from Nicky - we are in awe as always 🤩🙌🏽

🤿 REQUIRED. The high point of our challenging 14km/650m run into Coire Mhic Fhearchair this morning - the closest we were going to get to Beinn Eighe in the gales and constant rain! Spirits were high despite the weather, but we definitely could have done with (swimming) goggles when running into that wind!

We had some great nature experiences though, spotting 🐸 🦌 and 🐬 over the weekend - though the latter were not in the hills!!

THE HORNS of Beinn Alligin traverse was the pot of gold at the end of our 🌈 today! After a claggy start and some gusty winds, our Torridon Munros group were treated to clearing skies and magic . We weren’t sure it would happen, given the forecast, but we were all delighted to tick off these two ✔️✔️

ps. there was also cake 👌🏼

Tomorrow is looking a 2/10 but there’s still magic to be found in when it there’s rain and gales ✨

CHANGEABLE is an understatement when describing the weather in Torridon just now! We’re here for our Torridon Munros weekend and there’s wind, rain, sunshine and of course 🌈 all in the mix.
