Edenthorpe Ladies & Girls Football One of South Yorkshires largest female grassroots clubs | 14 Girls teams (U7-U16) & 3 Ladies teams.

Edenthorpe Juniors has 5 girls teams U9-U12, U14 and our wonderful Ladies Team and is part of a larger 2 star accredited club that has 14 Mixed teams from Development age 4 - Adults. If you fancy getting involved with girls football we are looking to create teams at the following age groups for Sept 2023 U7, U8 & U12.

Edenthorpe Ladies 3–5 Louth Football Club

A really positive outing for the ladies today as we continued the good passages of play and momentum from our last pre-season game.

The team showed a great attitude throughout, with plenty of hard work and lots of valuable minutes in the legs. It was a finely balanced game for large periods, with both sides battling hard and producing some really good football.

Unfortunately, a couple of lapses in concentration, and running out of steam allowed Louth to take advantage and ultimately edged the game 5–3.

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance, and the continued improvement and understanding within the team is really encouraging.

It’s matchday for Edenthorpe Ladies First Team as we make the trip to face Louth FC for our second pre-season friendly.

A really positive first pre-season friendly for the Ladies. Plenty of good build-up play, lots of time spent in the attacking third and plenty of chances created, just the final finish missing at times.

⚽ Brogan with the goal, following some brilliant work from Louisa who picked the ball up 35 yards out, beat two players and forced the save before Brogan tucked away the rebound.

Good minutes in the legs and plenty to build on as pre-season continues! 💛💙
