Congratulations to Liam Westwood on his well earned Silver medal today at the Beath box cup..🥈👏

Boxing against tricky southpaw Luka Massamba of Byron ,Liam just couldn’t get going due to a nose bleed in the 1st round that slowed the contest due to breaks in the action to have it looked at by the doctor, but gave a good account of himself,pushing the Byron boxer to the final bell.
Liam gave it his all,and plenty positives to take from the 2 bouts this weekend,and well done to his opponent Luka on his gold medal.

That’s a busy season over for the team.Another great year for the club,continuing to go from strength to strength.All the boxers all doing themselves and the club proud💥🥊

Good win today for Liam at the Beath box cup.
He faced Matthew Lawler of Johnstone boxing club in the semi final.
In a close bout,Liam boxed to instructions,and got the win on a split decision to get through to the final Tomorrow..Well done Liam👏🥊

🥊 Holiday Closure Notice 🥊

Just a reminder that the club will be closed for the summer holidays from Monday 6th July until Thursday 16th July.
We will reopen and return to training on Monday 20th July.

Please note that the 6pm to 7pm class will be cancelled until 20th August. During this period, all boxers who normally attend this session are welcome to join the 7pm to 8pm class instead.

We hope everyone enjoys the break, stays active, and comes back refreshed and ready to train. 💪🥊

📢 Training Cancelled Tonight

Unfortunately, due to coach unavailability, all boxing sessions are cancelled tonight.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone's understanding. Training will resume as normal at the next scheduled session.

Brilliant performance by Liam today at the 4 Nations! 🥊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Boxing against Ireland's Eddie Sweeney, Liam showed his absolute class over all three rounds. It was a razor-thin, hard-fought battle where we felt Liam had done more than enough to secure the win. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be, and it was his opponent's hand that was raised at the final bell.
While it's incredibly unlucky that he won't be boxing in the final tomorrow, this performance proved exactly what we already knew: Liam is right up there with the very best in Britain at his age and weight.
It was a massive effort that he should be incredibly proud of—the coaches and everyone at the club certainly are! 👏
Huge thanks to Boxing Scotland for the fantastic opportunity!
