Soon be time for time away!!
Traveling and enjoying your holiday doesn’t mean you have to skip your fitness routine! With a little planning, you can stay active, energised, and make the most of your trip. Here are some tips:

1️⃣ Plan Active Adventures: Explore your destination with walking tours, hike scenic trails, or rent a bike. It’s a fun way to see new places and stay fit!
2️⃣ Bodyweight Workouts: No equipment? No problem! Do quick routines like squats, lunges, push-ups, and planks in your hotel room or a nearby park.
3️⃣ Use Hotel Amenities: Take advantage of the hotel pool for laps or try the gym if available. Even a short session can boost your energy!
4️⃣ Stay Consistent: Aim for 15–30 minutes daily. Short, regular workouts are effective and easy to fit into your holiday schedule.

✅ Low-Impact Exercise: Activities like swimming, cycling, walking, and yoga help strengthen muscles around affected joints without putting excessive stress on them.
✅ Improve Flexibility & Range of Motion: Gentle stretching and mobility exercises can reduce stiffness and improve joint function.
✅ Boost Mood & Energy: Regular movement releases endorphins, helping to combat pain, fatigue, and depression often associated with arthritis.
✅ Maintain a Healthy Weight: Excess weight puts additional pressure on weight-bearing joints. Staying active helps with weight management, easing joint pain.
✅ Listen to Your Body: It’s important to start slow, avoid overexertion, and stop if you experience pain. Consistency over intensity is key.

Summer is here and it makes me think of sunflowers!
Did you know sunflower seeds can be used all year round 😉
