Club members Ciaran & Lucy spent the summer coaching tennis in the USA!🇺🇸🎾

Ciaran secured his job at Camp Echo Lake in upstate New York after gaining his LTA Coaching Assistant award & Lucy worked at Camp Kippewa in Maine with the experience gained from her LTA Tennis Leaders qualification.👍

Tennis is one of the sports in demand at America’s summer camps. With their qualifications & experience helping at the club, Ciaran & Lucy were able to secure places at excellent camps with great tennis programmes.👌

They both had a fantastic Summer with unforgettable experiences & would thoroughly recommend the experience to other junior club members!😄

🏆Junior Club Championships 2026🏆

The Junior Club Championships will take place on Saturday 19th & 26th September.👍

This is a great opportunity for your player to get lots of short fun matches with the chance to become club champ!👌

There will be certificates & sweets for all, plus medals for the winners. Hot dogs, Quorn dogs, drinks & cakes will also be available to buy – please bring cash!🌭🍰🍬🍭

The younger players will have umpires to help them score. ☺️

Separate girls’ and boys’ competitions will run depending on the number of entrants.✅

It’s FREE to enter but please make sure your player has joined the club this year.✅

The timings will be:

Sunday 29th September:
🔴1-2pm: 8u Red ball singles
🟠2-3pm: 10u Orange Ball singles
🟠3-4pm: 10u Orange Ball doubles

Saturday 26th September:
🟡1-3pm: 16u Girls Yellow Ball singles & doubles
🟡3-5pm: 16u Boys Yellow Ball singles & doubles
