TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!

The Kingswood Rugby Club 24-Hour Ruggerthon will be officially underway at 11am. A huge thank you to PKF-Francis Clark for their amazing support with this event!!!!

For the next 24 hours, players from every section of the club will be taking to the pitch in a continuous game of rugby as we aim to raise £10,000 towards the redevelopment of our club facilities.

There’s plenty happening throughout the day:
🔥 BBQ open all day
☕️The Brew Stable co from 10:30am
🌮 I scream tacos from 8pm

Whether you stay for 10 minutes or 10 hours, come down, show your support, cheer on the players and be part of something special for the future of Kingswood Rugby Club.

Ruggerthon, Food, Drink & Rugby… what more could you want? 🏉 ☕️ 🌮 🍔

We’re delighted to welcome two fantastic local vendors to our 24-Hour Ruggerthon this weekend!

🌮 I scream tacos on Saturday from 8:00pm.
☕ The Brew Stable co
📅 Saturday: 10:30am – 3:00pm
📅 Sunday: 7:30am – 12:00pm

We’ll also have the BBQ fired up throughout both days, so come down, enjoy the sunshine, grab some great food and drinks, and support the players taking part in this incredible 24-hour challenge.

Every penny raised helps Kingswood RFC continue improving facilities for our players and the wider local community.

As we look ahead to an exciting new chapter following the Kingswood RFC AGM, we also take a moment to recognise and thank some truly incredible volunteers who are stepping down from their roles.

A huge thank you to Matt Rich, our Youth Director of Rugby, Maria Ann Powell, Events Co-Ordinator, Dave Hodges, Junior Rugby Lead, and Gemma Ryan and Kirsty Lovell, our Safeguarding Team.

Between them, they have given countless hours, endless energy, and unwavering dedication to our club over many years. Their hard work has helped shape the experience of hundreds of children and families, creating opportunities, memories and a thriving rugby community that we are all proud to be part of.

Volunteers like these are the heartbeat of grassroots rugby. While they may be stepping away from their official roles, the impact they have had on Kingswood RFC will be felt for many years to come.

On behalf of everyone at the club, thank you for everything you have done. Your commitment, passion and support have made a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful 🩷🩵🤎🏉.

What a fantastic day we had at the Kingswood Knights End of Season Presentation! Kingswood KnightsKingswood Athenas

Congratulations to every player who picked up an award, you should all be incredibly proud of your achievements. More importantly, every single Knight and Athena who pulled on a Kingswood shirt this season has played their part in making 2025/26 such a memorable year.

Across all age groups we’ve seen players develop their skills, confidence, resilience and friendships. We’ve celebrated victories, learned from defeats, faced challenges together and, above all, had an enormous amount of fun both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible coaches, volunteers, committee members and parents. Grassroots rugby simply could not happen without your dedication, support and countless hours behind the scenes.

A special mention goes to our Colts players who are moving on to senior rugby. We wish you every success in the next stage of your rugby journey with Kingswood Rugby Club. We hope you’ll always be proud to have come through the Kingswood pathway and we look forward to seeing you continue your rugby careers in the blue and poo.

Finally, congratulations to Helen Furlong, our Junior Clubman of the Year. This award is a reflection of the outstanding commitment, enthusiasm and support Helen gives to our junior section. The club is incredibly grateful for everything Helen does.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of another fantastic season. We look forward to seeing you all back at Kingswood soon as we begin the next chapter of our rugby journey. 🏉🩷🩵🤎

As we look forward to our end of season presentations, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of another fantastic year at Kingswood.

A special thank you goes to our players, coaches, volunteers, parents, carers, sponsors and supporters who have all played their part throughout the season. Your commitment and support are what make our club such a special place.

Just a reminder that today’s presentations are all about celebrating the children, recognising their efforts, development and achievements, and thanking them for representing Kingswood with pride throughout the season. We hope everyone enjoys the afternoon and joins us in giving every player the recognition they deserve.

Our Ruggerthon is getting closer and we need a few more of our older age groups, parents and supporters to step up and get involved!

Whether you can play for an hour, through the night, or just come down and support, it all helps raise vital funds for Kingswood Rugby Club and the amazing community we have here 💙🤎

This club gives so much to our children, now it’s our turn to give something back.

And yes… some of us are attempting the full 24 hours 😅🏉
