CUP RESULT 🏆

The Reserves were away Saturday in the second round of the cup where they travelled to the downs to play Clifton St Vincent’s reserves.

Goals from Ivan Delaney, Morgan Stryjewski, Scott Johnson and an own goal saw them progress to the next round of the cup with a comfortable 0-6 win.

Up next int he 3rd round the Reserves will face Little Stoke Reserves (away) a club where Our Gaffers Shane and Jack left before starting here with the Reserves. 👀

Reserves Result ⚽️

Reserves keep up their form yesterday with a 3-0 win at home against Nic Wands A.

Alex Studley opened up the game with a well taken goal after a shot saved by the keeper bounced out and Alex slotted it home to make it 1-0.

Ciaran Barrett made it 2-0 in the first Half with some silky footwork to take on 3 defenders and put the ball past the keeper.

Ivan Delaney knows how to find the net and after last season finishing the leagues top goal scorer it was only a matter of time before he found the net in this game to make it 3-0.

Another 3 points on the board 👏🏻

George Duggan makes it 2 weeks in a row as he picked up the ball from a pass back 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Saturdays Result ⚽️

Made forever Reserves were away to De Veys on the weekend. Although they came home with the 3 points it wasn’t an easy game to win. Dominating the first 25 minutes with some beautiful football they found themselves 1-0 down after a mistake at the back. But the boys showed determination and fight back to bring the game level with a lovely finish from Morgan. 1-1 and we have been awarded a penalty but we couldn’t take advantage of that and the keeper made a good save. 8 minutes to go and a goal of the season contender from Ivan Delaney puts us 2-1 up and the boys held on to the win. 👏🏻

After spending all summer working on Southey clubhouse, last night we’ve had another break in. Again, the thief wasn’t able to take much, only £10 from the till and a pack of thatcher blackcurrant, but has left hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

We want to appeal to local communities and individuals to check their cameras around 3-4am and see if this low life scum was around the area and where he’s came from. Wearing a money shirt and blue coat.

If anyone can help, this will be done at complete discretion. The police are well aware of what happened already.

The Mades Reserves are away to Bristol Barcelona at Lockleaze Sports centre with a 4pm kick off.

Reserves were at home to oldland 3rds and came out comfortable winners with a dominant performance to make it 2 wins out of 3.

Debut and a goal for Alex Studley after making the transfer from Winterbourne reserves the day before. He was very comfortable on the ball and a brilliant team player, very excited with what Alex will bring to the squad 👏🏻

The 1st team were in action away to Chipping Sodbury Development Squad. A share of the spoils after a very exciting end to end game finished in a 2-2 draw. Still sat at the top of the table after 3 games ⚽️👏🏻

Well done to both teams as always! ⚽️
