As I announced on Monday this week, starting from 22nd June 2026, no children will be allowed to stay behind after the kids class has finished.
There are several reasons for this:
Our insurance does not cover your children once they are off the mats
The viewing gallery is not a child safe play area, neither are the toilets, where paper towels have been put down the toilet and the toilet was blocked
We have had several students complain about the noise and that they cannot hear the Jiu Jitsu instruction
I’m having to step out of my role as an instructor to either ask them to be quiet or, as has been the case recently, ask them not to pick up stools and charge at each other with them or stop them from going out of the Academy unattended
As per the video, furniture has been damaged (the cost to replace will come out of my own pocket)
I am aware that a lot of the parents weren’t there on Monday when I announced this so I thought I’d post it on here so that everybody knows the new rules
