Brilliant news to share that we have managed to secure 😉...see what I did there....sponsorship for both the home and away kit for the coming season. I've been working at Benweldsecure Ltd who are part of the Surelock Mcgill group, since September last year and since joining have loved getting to know all the team and we really have a good group of people working there, so will be a pleasure to have the company name on the players shirts. Many thanks to Surelock for agreeing to sponsor and it means a lot to our little team of stars. Team photos coming soon 👍👍

2 games into our higher division. 2 very hard fought games and close results. 1 win and 1 loss in 2 very competitive games shows we deserve to be at the level we are playing now. Player of the Week awards for and and goal for ⚽️ keep fighting stars. Everyone is so proud of you!

We've just had confirmation that this crazy bunch have just achieved promotion into the next division up after going unbeaten in the 1st 8 games of the season. Of course its non competitive at their age and its never been about the results for us. If you have ever had the pleasure of watching this group play you'll know its as much about giving these kids a chance to fall in love with the game and have as much fun as possible and feel part of a team. If any team is an advert for sticking at it when everyone else doubts you its this team. We were admittedly the lowest ability/confidence of the 6 Kewford Teams at our age group in the beginning. But with this promotion, which each of them has played a part in. They now sit alongside 2 of the other teams in the same league which is massive for them.

Division 5 to Division 4 is by no means the Champions league of their age group but it shows in 2.5 years the growth and journey they have been on and they deserve all the praise they get!!

1st Game of the season today for Kewford Stars. Brilliant start with a great win. The confidence these kids are playing with now is unbelievable. Just shows hard work and determination pays off! A League debut hat trick for since she joined in pre season shes bought a real grit to the team. Shout out to for a superb clean sheet. Both picked up player and coaches player of the match

What a week it's been for our Stars. 2 friendlies this week which resulted in 5-1 and 7-0 wins. In this team the result has never mattered as we have been all about developing the players and just wanting them to enjoy it. Whilst some teams were winning games by this margin from the off, we have had to work hard for 2 years to get to this point. The players have exactly the same positive attitude whether they win lose or draw. Manager Will and coach Wayne are so proud of the teams development over the past 2 years and are really looking forward to our upcoming 3rd Season in the SDYFL.
