We’ve got 2 brand new adjustable benches arriving at HQ early next week, giving you more stations, less waiting around, and a better training experience during busy periods.

We’re constantly reinvesting into the gym to make sure members have the equipment they need to get the most out of every session.

1. Precor Icarian Series Cable Shoulder Press
2. Pulse Fitness Seated Leg Press

Two very good additions and they have slid into the space perfectly.

As always, we as owners, appreciate everything our tribe does to build the amazing community we have 🥰

👋 Before Tribal 2 opens next week, I thought I’d introduce myself…

I’m Harley.

If you’ve trained at Tribal HQ before, you’ve probably seen me wandering around with a camera in one hand and a phone in the other 😅

With Tribal 2 opening next week, there’ll be a lot of new faces who haven’t got a clue who I am, so I thought I’d say hello before I start pointing cameras at everyone.

My job isn’t just to create content.

It’s to showcase the people who make Tribal what it is.

The members who turn up after a long day at work.
The people building confidence for the first time.
The 5am crew.
The people chasing goals nobody else sees.

You’ll see me around both gyms creating content, chatting to members, and showing people what Tribal is really about.

So if you spot me, come and say hello 👊

And if I ask you to jump in a photo or video, don’t panic… I promise I won’t make you dance on TikTok 😂

🚨 Is your PT holding you back?

This might ruffle a few feathers…

Just because someone is qualified doesn’t automatically make them a great coach.

Many PTs qualify and go straight onto the gym floor with very little real-world experience.

No years of coaching.
No track record.
No client results.
No understanding of how different people actually respond.

That can lead to poor advice, stalled progress and wasted time.

When choosing a coach, don’t just ask what qualification they have.

Ask:
✅ How long have they coached?
✅ What results have they achieved with clients?
✅ What is their own training background?
✅ Can they adapt a plan when things stop working?

Your coach should be helping you move forwards, not keeping you stuck in the same place.

🤔 “Why does no food plan work for me?”

It’s a question Jay gets asked all the time.

The answer is usually one of two things…

1️⃣ Your food plan is a one-off plan that never changes.

As your body changes, your calories, activity levels and requirements change too. What worked 12 weeks ago won’t necessarily work today.

2️⃣ You’re not being completely honest with yourself.

The handful of sweets.
The biscuits at work.
The takeaway that “doesn’t count”.

Small things add up quickly.

The best results don’t come from finding the perfect food plan.

They come from following a plan consistently, being honest with yourself, and making adjustments when needed.

Sometimes the truth isn’t what people want to hear… but it’s what gets results. 💚👊

Nearly one year ago we opened the doors to Tribal Gym HQ.

What started as an empty unit and a vision has become an incredible community of people all working towards becoming better versions of themselves.

Over the last 12 months we’ve seen friendships formed, confidence built, PBs smashed, transformations achieved and a gym culture we’re incredibly proud of.

🔧 TRIBAL GYM REFRESH NIGHT 🔧

On Thursday 4th June from 7pm, we'll have decorators on site carrying out some maintenance and freshening up around the gym.

Areas being refreshed include:
✅ Male changing rooms and toilet
✅ Changing room wall and doors
✅ Mirror wall near the Smith machine
✅ Window surrounds using anti-mould paint

The gym will remain open and fully accessible throughout.

Please note that some machines may be unavailable for short periods (around 10 minutes at a time) whilst the decorators use ladders to access the windows.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

As always, we hold ourselves to high standards at Tribal. When something needs refreshing, we get it done. Keeping the gym clean, well-maintained and looking its best is important to us and to the experience we want every member to have.

More isn’t always better. 👊

You wouldn’t wake up tomorrow and decide to run a 5K with zero build-up. You’d gradually increase it, build the engine, and progress over time.

Weight training works exactly the same. More sets, more days, more exercises doesn’t automatically mean more results. Consistency + progression beats going all in for a week then burning out.

Build it. Stick to it. Progress it. 📈
